PostBox by Postmark’d Studio is a subscription box that features artisanal greeting cards and postcards created by artists around the globe.
Each box will include 4 greeting cards, 1 postcard, postage stamps, and a fun artsy item such as a pen, pencil, or knick-knack based on that month’s particular theme. The cards are all handcrafted by a variety of different artists/companies, which means you’ll get a nice sampling of unique designs to send to your friends and loved ones.
Disclosure: I received this box for review purposes. I was not compensated in any way. All opinions are my own. Post may contain affiliate and/or referral links.
Subscriptions are $25/month (plus $5 shipping), or less with multi-month commitments. — For a limited time, you can save 40% on your 1st box when you sign up for a 3-month subscription! — Just use coupon code “2LRB404ME” at checkout.
Let’s see what’s in the November 2018 Postmark’d PostBox!
Everything was shipped in a small white box with a Postmark’d Studio logo on top.
A peek inside!
All boxes come with a hand-written note from the founder. Such a nice touch!
A 2-sided info card revealed the theme for November’s PostBox — “Thank FULL”. It also listed all of the cards included, along with the artists who made them. The reverse side of the info card challenged subscribers to fill the tote included in this month’s box (shown later) with nutritious food and deliver it to a local food bank. (There was also a note attached explaining that November’s box was oversold and they needed to substitute one of the original cards due to vendor supply.)
As always, the items were all neatly stacked together and secured with a pretty ribbon.
Stretchy Pants Pinwheel Print Shop/Cincinnati, OH
Oh, how I can relate to this card… It’s not even Thanksgiving yet and I’ve already given myself a pass to go a little overboard with the food consumption. (In fact, I may have eaten a gigantic vegan brownie before starting this review. Ugh.) That said, I’ll most definitely be needing my “stretchy pants” on Thursday… And beyond. 😉
Thanksgiving Chicken Egg Press/Portland, OR
This whimsical letterpress card features a thankful chicken, who I’m guessing is pretty glad he’s not a turkey at the moment. Of course, he and the turkeys would always be thankful (and uneaten) if it were up to me. 🙂 Still, a happy bird is a happy bird. Cheers to that, my chicken friend!
Thankful Pumpkin Sketchy Notions/Southern CA
A festive thank you card for the autumn months, this design from Sketchy Notions features a pile of pretty watercolor pumpkins coupled with trendy succulents. It’s paired with a brown kraft envelope with hand-stamped accents.
Hap Pie Thanksgiving E. Frances Paper/Newport, RI
This card was included as a substitute for the one that the vendor couldn’t send extra stock for, so some subscribers received the original (a cranberry-themed card from Dear Hancock) instead. Printed on luxe, heavyweight paper, this watercolor design highlights the best part of any Thanksgiving feast — the pie! It’s printed with metallic gold details and comes with a coordinating soft pine green envelope.
Thank FULL Tote Bag Nourishing Notes/Chicago, IL
As mentioned earlier, November’s challenge was to fill this cute black “I’m so thank FULL” tote with non-perishable food and donate it to a local food bank. The tote is made of a sturdy cotton canvas and measures 13″x 14″ with a bottom width of 3″ when fully open.
Vintage Postage Stamps
Ooh! — How neat are these vintage stamps? Included are designs from the 40’s, 60’s, and 70’s, as well as a WWI Forever stamp issued in July 2018. These are going right into my tin from the September box! 🙂
Postmark’d Studio Postcard & Pencil
As always, a thick/sturdy Postmark’d Studio postcard and pencil were also included.
Another nicely curated collection of greeting cards and fun extras from PostBox. All of those vintage stamps are just too neat! Something tells me I’m going to be holding onto them instead of actually using ’em for postage. 😉 — Remember, for a limited time you can save 40% on your 1st box when you sign up for a 3-month subscription! — Just use coupon code “2LRB404ME” at checkout.
