PrintsTo.Me is the newest way to transfer your Instagram photos from your phone into your hands. Started by the same folks who run BooksTo.Me (reviewed here), PrintsTo.Me offers a variety of fun options for printing out your Instagram-based images. From magnets, to ornaments, to plain ‘ol prints… They’ve got you covered.
I had a tough time deciding which products to order (I’m the most indecisive person ever), but finally went with a wall cling, a holiday ornament, and some snapshots.
The process was incredibly simple. Just visit the PrintsTo.Me site, choose the product you’d like, access your photos via Instagram, then preview how the product will look by selecting one of your photos. All of your images will appear beneath the product, so you can select and deselect as many as you’d like. They also give you the option to zoom in/out, crop, etc. Easy!
Snapshots – I love these little prints! They come in sets of 24 and each print measures 3.3″ x 4″. You can add captions, hashtags, or leave them as is. At first I thought they pulled the text from your Instagram account, but you actually have to type it yourself. That makes more sense, especially if you made typos in the original posts, or just don’t want to include a caption at all. They’re printed on Fuji archival paper and won’t fade for 75 years.
Ornament – This shot was taken last year and it kinda goes without saying that my girls were NOT a fan of the guy in the red suit. On the plus side, the experience did result in quite the epic “ornament worthy” photo. Well, if you like displaying pictures of your kids crying… which I clearly do. Anywhooo… The ornament is custom cut and printed on dye-infused metal. It’s double-sided, waterproof, UV-resistant and includes a red ribbon for hanging.
Wall Cling – It was so hard for me to decide on which photos to use for each product, that I went with this big ol’ wall cling so I could use 25 of ’em. This fabric cling is made with a silk-like material that doesn’t wrinkle or crease. It’s also self-adhesive and can be repositioned & moved as often as you like. There are 2 sizes to choose from: 20″ x 20″ (this one) and 20″ x 40″.
