Let’s make a ReNude Chagaccino!
The mushroomy goodness was shipped in a small brown box sealed with pink ReNude/Chagaccino themed packing tape.
A peek inside!
I received their standard 10-count Chagaccino box, as well as some ReNude swag.
Two 2-sided info cards explained more about the health benefits of Chaga, as well as how to prepare a Chagaccino with both espresso and drip coffee.
My swag consisted of a couple stickers, a frosted fortune cookie, and a plastic ReNude cup.
My kids happily split the cookie and were amused by the “fortune” inside.
The box contained ten 17 gram packets with nutritional info and full ingredients printed on the back of each one.
I gathered my “supplies” (aka my mug) and turned on my coffee maker.
After brewing an espresso shot, I poured in the full contents of one Chagaccino packet.
I then stirred it until the powder was fully dissolved.
Next, I added a frothed cup of warm almond milk and stirred once more…
…and my (sloppy looking) Chagaccino was ready. — So easy!
So how did it taste? To be honest, I was a little hesitant to find out. I’m not a huge fan of monk fruit extract and I tend to shy away from mushrooms (such a bad vegan), BUT I was pleasantly surprised by how good it was! Did I notice the monk fruit aftertaste? I sure did, but it wasn’t nearly as strong as I was anticipating and I was able to adjust to it after the first couple sips and truly enjoy my drink. I’m not sure if I’d add this to my coffee on a daily basis, but a few times a week in order to reap the benefits of the almighty Chaga works for me. 🙂 — Remember, for a limited time you can save 10% on the 10-ct box with coupon code “ROSEBUDS“!
