Sapphire Soul is offering a special limited edition Frozen-inspired box for the holidays. The box is geared toward children and includes an assortment of goodies that any Frozen fan would be excited to receive. — It even includes personalized items from Elsa and Anna!
The contents of the box will vary depending on your child’s age. The box I’ll be reviewing is for children 5 and up, but if you specify that you have a younger child at checkout they’ll adjust the items to better suit your little one.
Unlike the monthly Sapphire Soul boxes, this is a one-time purchase. The cost of the box is $68 and it will ship the week of December 15th. (Orders will be taken up to December 10th.)
I do have to confess that I haven’t actually seen the movie Frozen, but I’ve heard enough about it to have at least a bit of an idea as to what I’d find in the box. Well, theme-wise anyway.
Okay, let’s see what’s in the box!
The box itself was stamped with snowflakes and covered in blue and silver glitter. What kid wouldn’t love a glittery box addressed to them and shipped from “Queen Elsa and Princess Anna” of Arendelle?
Inside the box, your little one will find a personalized letter signed by Queen Elsa and Princess Anna. It details all of the items in the box and the meaning behind each one.
Journal, Pen & Pencil – A snowflake/”Frozen”-themed journal is included for your little one to write down his or her “hopes and dreams”. The first page features a hand-written note from Queen Elsa reminding them to dream big!
Bracelets – Two special bracelets — made by Elsa and Anna, of course — are sure to become favorite accessories of the lucky kiddo who receives them. They seem very well made and the combination of beads, stones, and crystals makes them extra sparkly.
Anna’s Frozen Heart – Since I haven’t seen the movie, I’ll just use what was in the letter from Elsa & Anna to describe this one: “This crystal comes from the trolls and reminds us that we are all precious and even if it’s hard sometimes, love is always there. Love will find a way, even if it means unfreezing a frozen heart!.” The heart is made of selenite, described as a “stone of truth, honesty, love, and harmony”.
Essential Oils – Lavender, eucalyptus, and spearmint essential oils were included for making aromatherapy play-doh. The recipe will be included in a downloadable PDF of activities that will be emailed to you once you’ve purchased the box.
Fire Crystal – Again, I’m not sure what the significance of most of these things are, and this is no exception. Obviously, anyone who has seen the movie will know all about fire crystals, trolls, and the like. What I do know is that this “fire crystal” is actually clear quartz, which represents “purity, healing, growth, and dreams”.
Angel Mist – This is a kid-friendly essential oil mist which, according to the letter, is what Anna & Elsa’s palace smells like. I’m not sure what the actual scent is, but it’s sweet, minty, and reminds me of the holidays. Mmm!
Elsa’s Magic – I love this! A tiny glass bottle full of blue and silver glitter aka “magic”. Adorable!
“Let it Go” Bracelet – While I’ve never seen the movie, I’ve most definitely heard the “Let it Go” song. (It’s pretty much unavoidable.) This pretty bracelet is included for your child to give as a gift to someone special. How nice! (Well, if they actually agree to part with it let it go!)
Pouch of Crystals – A small pouch of crystals were included to help your child feel better when they’re afraid or sad. The pink one is rose quartz, which represents love and happiness. The brown one (tiger’s eye) is for courage and strength. Finally, the small sparkly blue one (it’s so pretty in person!) is blue goldstone to remind us of the stars that shine bright in the night sky.
Ball – This ball is “to squeeze whenever you feel a little upset, nervous, and just need to let it go!”.
Crafts – Your child can make their own bookmark with the included foam sticker kit, as well as a pretty silver & blue snowflake keychain charm.
Rock Candy – A Frozen-themed sweet treat!
What a fun box! I love how all of the items were so well thought out and how everything fit the theme perfectly. This would make a great gift for any little Frozen fan in your life.
If you’d like to order a box, don’t wait! — Any order received BEFORE Thanksgiving (Thursday November 27) will be entered to win a personalized video from Elsa and Anna! The video will be sent via email right to the recipient and the winner will be contacted to get the name of the child and a few details to make the video personal and meaningful. No code required.
Also, if you use the promo code “OLAF28” at checkout, you’ll receive a code via email for $10 off anything in the Sapphire Soul store (even good towards subscription boxes!). Code expires January 10, 2015.
