Send Me Gluten Free is a brand new subscription service that offers a monthly box of gluten-free goodies delivered right to your door!
While the monthly box may be new, the folks behind Send Me Gluten Free have been heavily involved in the gluten free community for quite some time. They’ve been hosting Gluten & Allergen Free Expos since 2007 and consider this new venture to be sort of like “an expo in a box” for those who aren’t able to attend their expos. — An easy alternative way to discover great new gluten-free products in the convenience of their own homes.
Send Me Gluten Free boxes will consist of 8-12 full and sample sized products ranging from food and supplements to personal care and household goods. Subscriptions are $30/month or less with longer commitments and shipping is always free!
I was recently sent their August debut box and thought it was great, so I was excited to see what was in store for September!
First look. Once again the box was packed to the brim. Always a good thing.
Beanfields Bean & Rice Chips in Barbecue – Awww yeeeah! I love me some Beanfields! As soon as I saw this bag I almost didn’t care what else was in the box. These are hands down my absolute favorite vegan and gluten-free chips. They’re made with black beans, navy beans, rice, and other good-for-you ingredients. A delicious alternative to traditional chips for sure!
Giddy Up & Go Notoriously Nutty Granola – I’ve gotten this granola in a few other boxes and it’s really good. They have a “Seriously Seedy” version as well, but I like this one better. It’s packed full of almonds, walnuts & pecans and has a nice crunch. It’s gluten-free as well as vegan (yay!).
Schar Honeygrams – I love graham crackers and this little package reminds me of the ones they give you in the hospital… Totally takes me back to the childbirth classes I took “with” the girls. These are gluten-free, wheat-free and sweetened with honey.
Go Picnic Turkey Pepperoni & Cheese Ready-to-Eat Meal – A fun ready-to-eat meal with a protein, dairy, grains (crackers), nuts, and fruit! The whole meal only has 330 calories and is great to take along with you anywhere since it doesn’t need refrigeration. They have vegan and vegetarian versions as well, which look pretty damn tasty!
Soyjoy Blueberry Baked Whole Soy & Fruit Bar – This is made with ground whole soybeans and real dried fruits. It’s also got eggs, butter, and milk so I’ll be passing this along to someone else.
Savory Choice Authentic Pho Liquid Broth – A preservative & MSG-free broth that can be used for soups, marinades, or flavoring for noodle & rice dishes.
Virtuous Living Spices – 3 sample packets of gluten-free, organic, kosher, non-GMO spice blends.
(I think the chop sticks up there are a little “bonus” item from Savory Choice.)
Pamela’s Gluten-Free Pancake & Baking Mix – You can use this versatile mix to make pancakes, waffles, cakes, muffins, and other yummy treats. It can also be used as a regular ol’ flour substitute.
Lovely Candy Co. Chewy Chocolate Swirl Caramels – I’ve had Lovely candies before and they were pretty tasty (their fruit chews are vegan!). These ones are gluten-free caramels with chocolate flavored swirls. They’re made with all natural ingredients and contain zero GMO’s, artificial flavors, or high fructose corn syrup.
Kelapo Extra Virgin Coconut Oil – These packets are everywhere! I’ve probably gotten at least a half a dozen of these in subscription boxes in the recent months. I know coconut oil is super good for you, but I’ve yet to open one of these guys. Some day…
Soapbox Soap Mandarin Hand Soap – I’ve actually done a review for Soapbox before and they make great products. Their soaps are 100% natural and with each product they sell they donate soap and/or clean water to those in need.
Coupons! – Once again, they included plenty of coupons and discounts for some of the items featured in the box.
Send Me Gluten Free is the perfect box for discovering new gluten-free goodies. I like the nice mix of different snacks, cooking/baking, and household items. Plus, it doesn’t hurt that they PACK the box full of stuff! Yay!
