I was really impressed with last month’s box, so I was excited when they sent me September’s for review as well! Yay!
This month’s offerings were chosen to coincide with National Yoga Month.
All of the items were listed with a brief description as well as their retail value.
Mineral Hygienics Natural Mineral Blush in “Bliss” – I normally stick to red/pink shades of blush, but I’m not opposed to trying this bronzy color. It’s supposed to work with all skin types and tones, so I’ll give it a go. Plus, I love that it’s made with natural ingredients. Oh, and it’s FULL SIZE! (Amazon/Retail Price: $18.00)
Waxelene Petroleum Jelly Alternative – This claims to be “The best lip balm ever”, but I have a zillion lip balms so I’m going to go with one of its alternative uses (diaper rash). It’s petroleum free, biodegradable, and never tested on animals. (Retail Price: $3.99)
Puur Body Witches’ Brew Activated Charcoal Soap – Handmade, vegan bar soap made with activated charcoal and tea tree oil for an ideal face cleanser. (Retail Value: $1.10 for this sample size)
Rustic Maka Pachy Deodorant – These are adorable little deodorant samples made with organic, vegan ingredients. They’re the perfect size to keep in your bag for on the go reapplications. Just take it out, pretend it’s lip balm, and swipe it under your armpit. Brilliant! — Oh, I should probably mention that they do offer regular sized sticks too. 😉 (Retail Value: $3.58)
Lotus Wei Infinite Love Serum – This serum spray is made with natural oils, flower essences, and even gem essence. You’re supposed to rub it on your pulse points, behind the ears, or run it in a bath to harness its power of self acceptance and love. It’s also said to dissolve irritation, jealousy, and resentment. (Retail Value: $10)
Pure Organic Cherry Cashew Bar – I’m not sure if this was just a little bonus (it wasn’t listed on the info card), but whatever it was, it was good! A vegan, gluten-free food bar made with only natural, organic ingredients. I actually snacked on it while writing this review and it made for a great after dinner treat. Mmm. (Amazon Price: roughly $1.56)
Molly’s Suds Laundry Powder – These were also featured in last month’s box, but they did make a point to call them “A Kloverbox favorite” on the info card so we’ll let it slide. 😉 Two packets of this toxin-free, eco-friendly laundry powder were included. (Retail Value: $5.50)
There was also a coupon for 30% off Gurus Natural Rubber Sandals, but I’m not including it as an actual “item”.
Once again, I’m pretty dang impressed with Kloverbox! It was awesome to see another full sized item (the blush), as well as what I’d consider deluxe size samples. I hate getting tiny foil samples in boxes, so seeing so many larger items is definitely a big plus. Oh, and all totaled everything in the boxes comes to an impressive $43.73! Not bad for a $25 box!
If you’d like to check out Kloverbox for yourself, you can save 10% on your first box when you use my exclusive promo code “2LRB10” at checkout! Yay!
