Serendipity by LLB (Little Lace Box) is a lifestyle subscription box that delivers hand curated, designer products directly to your door every other month.
Boxes will feature five to seven sample-sized and full-sized items ranging from beauty, to home decor, sweet treats, bath & body products, and more. There typically won’t be a theme — just a collection of items chosen for their overall awesomeness.
Subscriptions are only $9.99/box (single, non-renewing), or $59.94 annually (6 boxes).
Let’s see what’s in the March 2016 Serendipity by Little Lace Box!
The box!
A peek inside.
An info booklet listed all of the items in the box, along with descriptions and retail prices for each one.
27 oz. Storage Canister ($13.99) – Subscribers were sent either this “Vintage Kitchen Red” color, or a cream & teal “Vintage Americana” version. I was hoping for the latter, but this red one is still nice. Label variations were also sent — “Tea”, “Coffee”, or “Sugar” — and I’m happy with Tea, since that’s likely what I’ll use it for. It’s a great size (27 oz.) and has an airtight silicone seal. This item alone already covers the cost of the entire box!
Pamela Barsky 6 x 8 Pouch ($16.50) – First, I’m not a big fan of the phrase I received (I had seen a lot of better ones before mine arrived). Second, I have no idea how this little canvas(?) pouch can be worth almost $17. It’s not even sewn straight. Pssh. That said, it’ll make a lovely carrying case for my kiddo’s crayons… They can cover the text with stickers or something. 😉
Modern Sprout Kraft Seed Starter ($5.66) – Despite killing every damn thing I try to plant/grow, I still enjoy getting new seed kits. I received Lemon Basil, which came with soil, seeds, and a biodegradable planting pot.
Fat Witch Bakery Brownie ($2.95) – Apparently this is known as “New York City’s Legendary Brownie”. They’ve been sold in individually wrapped squares since 1991. My mom was over when I opened my Serendipity box, so she happily took this off my hands.
Kate Aspen Gold Love Glass Coaster Set ($3.55) – These glass coasters feature gold foil designs, one striped and one with the word “love”. They’re alright, but I prefer more whimsical coasters. Plus gold is just not my favorite.
Overall, I’m super impressed with the March 2016 Serendipity by LLB box. Sure, there were a few items that didn’t “wow” me, but for $9.99 I’m absolutely happy with what I received. — Especially since the total retail value was over $42!
