Sips By is a subscription box that sends you a personalized selection of teas on a monthly basis.
Each box will contain 4 premium teas — enough to make 15 cups — that are specifically chosen for YOU based on your Sips By profile. Upon signing up, you’ll be asked a series of questions to determine which types of tea you’d most enjoy. You can specify your preferences when it comes to the benefits you look for in a tea (stress relief, weight loss, sleep aid, taste, energy, etc), preferred flavors (unflavored, citrus, berry, mint, floral, earthy, sweet, etc.), and more. You’ll also be able to rate your teas on their site to help them curate more matches for you in the future.
Disclosure: I received this box for review purposes. I was not compensated in any way. All opinions are my own. Post may contain affiliate and/or referral links.
Subscriptions are $15/month with free shipping within the US. — For a limited time, you can save $5 on your first box with coupon code “2ROSEBUDS“!
Let’s see what’s in my February 2019 Sips By box!
Everything was shipped in a small box with the Sips By logo on top.
A peek inside!
A personalized info card listed all of the teas included in my February box, along with brief descriptions, steeping times, and coupon codes.
Also included was a special Valentine you can use to invite your friend or “sweet-tea” on a tea date. Cute!
Tea Fiori White Rose
This low-caffeine tea was inspired by the Roseto Botanico Gianfranco e Carla Fineschi, the world’s largest private rose garden located in the Tuscan countryside. It contains a fragrant combination of organic Bai Mudan white tea and organic rose petals & buds. An ideal choice for the month of love!
Tiesta Tea Fireside Spice
The weather here in western New York has been downright frigid lately, so this warming fruit tea sounds like it’ll be the perfect drink to cozy up with. The caffeine-free blend features a flavorful combination of hibiscus, cinnamon, apple pieces, orange slices, cinnamon sticks, orange peel, cloves, and more. It can also be enjoyed iced, for those of you who aren’t in the middle of a deep freeze. 😉
Cookie Tea Almond Cookie Herbal Tea
Another caffeine-free offering, this tea was inspired by freshly baked almond cookies. It contains apple pieces, almonds, cinnamon pieces, beetroot, and flavoring — everything you love about cookies without the guilt. Yum!
DAVIDsTEA Organic Cold 911
For some reason my info card listed a jasmine tea blend from Ahmad Tea, but I received this one from DAVIDsTEA instead. At first I was kinda bummed, since I absolutely LOVE jasmine tea, but I’m certainly not mad about having a cold-relieving tea on hand for my next bout of sickness (it’s bound to happen!). This organic blend contains a soothing mix of peppermint, apple, juniper berries, and natural eucalyptus & orange flavoring. It was specially developed using traditional folk remedies for the common cold.
Sips By Tea Bags
If your box contains loose leaf tea you’ll also receive a reusable muslin cloth tea bag, along with a handful of disposable bags. If you’re lazy like me and don’t like cleaning out traditional tea balls/strainers, these are an awesome alternative.
February’s Sips By box featured a great assortment of mostly caffeine-free teas to keep you warm & toasty during this month of love. My personal favorites were the Tiesta Tea Fireside Spice, Cookie Tea Almond Cookie, and DAVIDsTEA Cold 911. — Remember, for a limited time you can save $5 on your first box with coupon code “2ROSEBUDS“!
