Sips By is a subscription box that sends you a personalized selection of teas on a monthly basis.
Each box will contain 4 premium teas — enough to make 15 cups — that are specifically chosen for YOU based on your Sips By profile. Upon signing up, you’ll be asked a series of questions to determine which types of tea you’d most enjoy. You can specify your preferences when it comes to the benefits you look for in a tea (stress relief, weight loss, sleep aid, taste, energy, etc), preferred flavors (unflavored, citrus, berry, mint, floral, earthy, sweet, etc.), and more. You’ll also be able to rate your teas on their site to help them curate more matches for you in the future.
Disclosure: I received this box for review purposes. I was not compensated in any way. All opinions are my own. Post may contain affiliate and/or referral links.
Subscriptions are $15/month with free shipping within the US. — For a limited time, you can save $5 on your first box with coupon code “2ROSEBUDS“!
Let’s see what’s in my February 2020 Sips By box!
Everything was shipped in a small box with the Sips By logo on top.
A peek inside!
A personalized info card listed all of the teas included in my February Sips By box, along with brief descriptions, steeping times, and coupon codes.
Davidson’s Organics Vanilla Cream Spice
“Dessert teas” are always nice to have on hand. This vanilla cream spice blend from Davidson’s Organics contains an indulgent combination of organic barley, cinnamon, chicory, chamomile, carob, rooibos, and natural flavor. It’s caffeine-free and despite having “cream” in the name, it appears to be vegan-friendly.
Tealyra Strawberry Macaron
Ooh… I’m really looking forward to trying this fruity macaron-inspired offering from Tealyra! It features a colorful blend of hibiscus blossoms, lavender, rose hip peel, sliced almonds, almond pieces, freeze dried strawberries, and apple pieces. Yum!
Miracle Tree Moringa Infusion with Green Tea, Lemon & Ginger
While the first two teas were caffeine-free, this third one is SUPER caffeinated — making it an ideal alternative to coffee. Each serving actually contains 155 mg of organic caffeine, compared to the 100-125 mg that coffee offers. Ingredients include dried moringa leaves, green tea, ginger root, lemon pieces, sweet fennel, and caffeine tea extract.
Metolius Sweet Bee Green Artisan Tea
My final sampling was a low-caffeine blend from Metolius Artisan Tea. It features a 100% organic blend of green tea, lavender, jasmine, and Madagascar vanilla bean. I LOVE anything that includes jasmine, so I’m excited to try this. 🙂
Sips By Tea Bags
If your box contains loose leaf tea you’ll also receive a reusable muslin cloth tea bag, along with a handful of disposable bags. If you’re lazy like me and don’t like cleaning out traditional tea balls/strainers, these are an awesome alternative.
My February Sips By box included a nice assortment of fruity, floral, and sweet teas. My personal favorites were the Tealyra Strawberry Macaron, Davidson’s Organics Vanilla Cream Spice, and Metolius Sweet Bee Green. — Remember, for a limited time you can save $5 on your first box with coupon code “2ROSEBUDS“!
