October 2018 Sips By review time!
If you haven’t heard, Sips By is a subscription box that sends you a personalized selection of teas on a monthly basis. Each box will contain 4 premium teas — enough to make 15 cups — that are specifically chosen for YOU based on your Sips By profile. Upon signing up, you’ll be asked a series of questions to determine which types of tea you’d most enjoy. You can specify your preferences when it comes to the benefits you look for in a tea (stress relief, weight loss, sleep aid, taste, energy, etc), preferred flavors (unflavored, citrus, berry, mint, floral, earthy, sweet, etc.), and more. You’ll also be able to rate your teas on their site to help them curate more matches for you in the future.
Disclosure: I received this box for review purposes. I was not compensated in any way. All opinions are my own. Post may contain affiliate and/or referral links.
Subscriptions are $15/month with free shipping within the US. — For a limited time, you can save $5 on your first box with coupon code “2ROSEBUDS“!
Let’s see what’s in my October 2018 Sips By box!
Everything was shipped in a small box with the Sips By logo on top.
A peek inside!
A personalized info card listed all of the teas included in my October box, along with brief descriptions, steeping times, and coupon codes.
Harney & Sons Chamomile
A classic, caffeine-free chamomile tea made with “Egypt’s finest chamomile flowers”. Each silken pyramid sachet contains only the heads of the flowers for a pure chamomile flavor. A great tea to enjoy at the end of a long day. 🙂
OLLT Co. Organic Jasmine Green Tea
Jasmine green! — I mention it every time I receive it, but jasmine green is my absolute favorite type/flavor of tea. This one from OLLT Co. consists of organic, fair trade tea from Fujian Province, China that has been scented/flavored with jasmine flowers. I will be enjoying this one VERY soon!
Organic India Tulsi Turmeric Ginger
A “stress-relieving & harmonizing” tea consisting of Tulsi (holy basil), turmeric, ginger, cinnamon, black pepper, clove, and stevia leaf. It’s certified organic, non-GMO, and caffeine-free. I’m a fan of both turmeric and ginger, so I’m looking forward to sampling this flavorful blend.
The Jasmine Pearl Tea Co. Black Wolf
Described as a dessert tea, this blend from The Jasmine Pearl Tea Co. features a puerh base, which has been known to settle the stomach after a heavy meal. Full ingredients include ripe (Shou) Chinese puerh tea, carob, cacao nibs, elderberry, rosehips, honeybush, peppercorns, natural blackberry flavor, and natural vanilla flavor.
Also included was a recipe for a “Black Wolf Latte” that utilized the tea above.
So many great tea selections in my October 2018 Sips By box! I’m always thrilled to see jasmine green featured and I’m really looking forward to trying that turmeric ginger blend. — Remember, for a limited time you can save $5 on your first box with coupon code “2ROSEBUDS“!
