Every box will contain a mixture of all natural, vegan, organic, non-GMO, gluten-free, and fair trade products. Items can include chips, protein bars, fruit snacks, popcorn, nuts, chocolate bars, cookies, granola, and more. They offer 3 different box options: Classic, Vegan, and Gluten Free.
Disclosure: I received this box for review purposes. I was not compensated in any way. All opinions are my own. Post may contain affiliate and/or referral links.
Subscriptions are $22/month for the Classic box, or $24/month for the Vegan and Gluten Free options. All boxes ship free within the US ($9.99 to Canada) & discounts are available for multi-month plans. — For a limited time, you can save 10% for LIFE (includes all future renewals) with coupon code “ROSE″!
Let’s see what’s in the April 2020 Vegan SnackSack!
As always, everything was shipped in their custom turquoise & white SnackSack box.
A peek inside!
Normally, a tri-fold info sheet listing all of the items included in each of the 3 available boxes (Classic, Vegan, and Gluten-Free) is included with the box. However, it was missing this month (at least, it was for me).
RW Garcia 3 Seed Sweet Potato Crackers
I love RW Garcia chips! I’ve tried quite a few of their flavor combos and they’ve all been really good. These ones are made with sweet potatoes, chia seeds, flaxseed, sesame seeds, and other natural ingredients. They’re also gluten-free and non-GMO.
Kibo Foods Himalayan Salt Chickpea Chips
Touting 7 grams of plant-based protein per serving, these flavorful chips are made with all natural ingredients including chickpea flour, yellow split peas, and Himalayan Salt. They contain no preservatives and have just 110 calories & 1 gram of sugar per serving.
Raw Rev Glo Birthday Cake Bar
A non-GMO protein bar packed with raw, plant-based ingredients including peanuts, organic hemp protein, pea protein, organic chia seeds, and sea salt. Each bar has 13 grams of protein, 13 grams of fiber, and only 2 grams of sugar. I enjoyed the texture of the “sprinkles” in this, though I did detect a weird flavor that I later realized was monk fruit (not a fan). Not too bad though.
Bakery on Main Maple Multigrain Muffin Instant Oatmeal
Gluten-free instant oatmeal made with heart-healthy ancient grains & seeds including flax, chia, quinoa, and amaranth. All natural and non-GMO.
Ekoa Pure Banana Dried Fruit Bar
If you can’t have a fresh banana, this bar is the next best thing. — It’s made with just one simple ingredient: Dried banana. It contains no added coloring, flavors, or anything artificial. Just 100% natural banana goodness.
Uglies Kettle Cooked Potato Chips
These crunchy kettle cooked chips are made using potatoes with “minor cosmetic imperfections”. By using these less-than-perfect spuds, Uglies have saved over 3 million pounds of potatoes from becoming food waste!
Madegood Vanilla Crispy Square
I love these crispy squares! They’re basically a healthier (vegan-friendly!) version of a Rice Krispie Treat that’s free of the 8 common allergens including dairy, peanuts, wheat, soy, tree nuts, and eggs. It’s non-GMO, organic, and includes extra nutrients from fruits & veggies.
The GFB Gluten-Free Dark Chocolate Coconut Bites
These little truffle-like bites are made with wholesome ingredients including crisped brown rice, dates, toasted coconut, flaxseed and more. Not only are they gluten-free, but soy-free and vegan-friendly as well.
Nature’s Bakery Original Fig Bar
My daughters both LOVE these fig bars and have been eating them almost daily for about a couple years now. They were a subscription box discovery and we just can’t get enough of ’em. They’re made with ancient grains including teff & amaranth and they’re also free of high fructose corn syrup, artificial colors, flavors, and preservatives. They also offer a gluten-free version.
The Soulfull Project Cinnamon Spice Multigrain Hot Cereal
This hot cereal packet contains a gluten free blend of whole grain oats, brown sugar, red quinoa, black chia seeds, brown flax seeds, cinnamon, and salt. For every serving purchased, The Soulfull Project donates a serving of their 4 Grain Blend to a food bank in the same region.
Madegood Chocolate Chip Soft Baked Mini Cookies
At first glance, I thought these were Madegood’s granola bites that I’ve gotten a few times before — but these are actually cookies! Like all of their products, these mini cookies are free of the 8 common allergens and contain the nutrients equivalent to a serving of fruits & veggies. Can’t wait to try ’em!
April’s vegan SnackSack box had a great assortment of bars, chips, sweet treats, crackers, and more. My personal favorites were the RW Garcia Sweet Potato Crackers, Madegood Crispy Square (and cookies!), Nature’s Bakery Fig Bar, and GFB Bites. 🙂 — Remember, if you’d like to try out SnackSack for yourself, you can save 10% for LIFE with coupon code “ROSE″!
