Let’s see what’s in the February 2017 SnackSack!
The box! — For some reason it was a solid gray this month, as opposed to their usual white & green custom SnackSack box.
A peek inside!
The information card listed everything inside, along with helpful symbols next to each one indicating whether it’s vegan, gluten-free, and/or non-GMO. They also included the retail values as well.
Cosmos Creations Coconut Crunch ($1)
A premium puffed corn snack made with non-GMO corn and flavored with real coconut & organic coconut oil. It’s gluten-free and contains no trans fats or artificial ingredients.
Nature’s Bakery Raspberry Double Chocolate Brownies ($3.39)
I’ve had these brownies before and they’re really good! They’re made with whole wheat flour, date paste, raspberries, non-dairy chocolate, and other all natural ingredients. Yum!
Jackson’s Honest Barbeque Chips ($1.19)
These chips are cooked in small batches using coconut oil and have the perfect crunch. I love barbecue flavored anything (well, except meat 😉 ), so these are great.
Quest Cereal Protein Bars ($3.42)
These gluten-free snack bars have just 110 calories a piece and a whopping 12 grams of protein and 7 grams of fiber. Two cinnamon roll flavored bars were included.
Think Jerky Sriracha Honey Free-Range Turkey Jerky ($4.99)
Free-range turkey jerky made with free-range turkey, real honey, and Chef Gale Gand’s custom sriracha mix. It’s gluten free, non-GMO, and contains no nitrites, added hormones, or antibiotics.
NibMor Daily Dose of Dark with Cacao Nibs ($2.49)
Certified organic, non-GMO, fair trade chocolate squares that are both gluten-free and vegan-friendly. They’re also full of little cacao nibs that give ’em a nice crunch. SO good! 🙂
Käfē Premium Coffee Candy ($1.79)
Certified organic coffee flavored hard candies made with just 3 ingredients — evaporated cane juice, tapioca syrup, and spray dried coffee.
Little Secrets Peppermint Dark Chocolate Candies ($6.25)
I saved the best for last! — These Little Secrets chocolate peppermint candies are like a more natural, vegan-friendly version of mint M&Ms and they are SO good! They only carry them in my supermarket around the holidays, so I was beyond excited to see them included in this month’s SnackSack. 😀
February’s SnackSack was heavy on the vegan-friendly chocolate products. — Definitely my kind of box! 😉 My favorite items were the NibMor chocolates, Nature’s Bakery brownies, barbeque chips, and of course the Little Secrets chocolate candies. 🙂 — Remember, if you’d like to try out SnackSack for yourself, you can save 10% on your first purchase with my exclusive coupon code “ROSE10″!
