February 2018 SnackSack review time!
If you haven’t heard, SnackSack is a subscription box that focuses on delivering natural, “junk-free” snacks to your door every month. Every box will contain a mixture of all natural, vegan, organic, non-GMO, gluten-free, and fair trade products. They also have an all-vegan box option, as well as one that’s entirely gluten-free.
Disclosure: I received this box for review purposes. I was not compensated in any way. All opinions are my own. Post may contain affiliate and/or referral links.
Subscriptions are $22/month for the Classic box, or $24/month for the Vegan and Gluten Free options. All boxes ship free within the US ($9.99 to Canada) & discounts are available for multi-month plans. — For a limited time, you can save 10% for LIFE (includes all future renewals) with coupon code “ROSE″!
Let’s see what’s in the February 2018 Vegan SnackSack!
Everything was shipped in their signature white and green box with the “sack” logo on top.
A peek inside!
A full-color info sheet listed everything inside, along with helpful symbols next to each one indicating whether it’s vegan, gluten-free, organic, and/or non-GMO.
SnackSack has retired their original burlap sack and now sends a handy, more attractive reusable tote to subscribers instead. (You’ll receive it in your first box and can refill it with new SnackSack snacks each month after.)
Torie & Howard Sour Apple Chewie Fruities
I love these chewy little candies and was excited to see that they now come in “stick” form! They’re basically like Starburst, but without all the artificial flavors & colors. Not only are they all natural and organic, but they’re also vegan-friendly, non-GMO, and gluten-free.
OCHO Coconut Bar
I’ve seen these at my local supermarket, but had no idea they were actually vegan. — Now I know! According to the reviews on Amazon, it’s pretty much a vegan (and more healthy) version of a Mounds bar. Yum!
Pizootz Artisan Peanuts
All natural Virginia peanuts flavored with sea salt & ground black pepper. These are completely free of gluten, preservatives, GMOs, MSG, and other nasty stuff. The label also states that they’re “powder-free” for no more messy hands. Good to know.
Vegan Rob’s Beet Puffs
First, I love that it says “Go Vegan!” right at the top of this package. Second, I have yet to try a Vegan Rob’s product that I haven’t enjoyed and I’m sure these purple puffs will be tasty as well. They’re made with certified gluten free ingredients including organic whole grain sorghum flour, beet powder, nutritional yeast, sea salt, onion powder, and more.
Raw Rev Glo Dark Chocolate Espresso Crunch Bar
I’ve gotten a lot of these Raw Rev bars in subscription boxes and am always happy to see them. All of ’em are vegan friendly and loaded with plant-based protein & fiber.
Laughing Giraffe Organics Lemon Snackaroon
Snackaroons are another treat that pop up in snack subscription boxes every so often. They’re made with raw, organic ingredients and are both gluten-free & vegan-friendly. If you enjoy coconut, you’ll love these guys.
Bobalu In-Shell Almonds
Roasted & salted in-shell almonds that easily crack open for a fun, portable snack experience.
Made in Nature Cranberry Pistachio Figgy Pops
Organic fruit & nut balls made with 100% organic & non-GMO ingredients including dates, figs, cranberries, pistachios, apricots, coconut, and more. They contain zero refined sugar and are best enjoyed refrigerated.
Evo Hemp Apple Pecan Bar
I had this “organic raw health bar” for a snack earlier today and while it wasn’t awful, it’s not something I would buy on my own. I’m not a big fan of apple cinnamon flavored things, so that could be the reason. It’s certainly good for you though and features ingredients like figs, pecans, apples, hemp seeds, dates, turmeric, and more.
More Good Life Chocolate Chip Cookie
Now THIS was delicious. I had never heard of this particular brand, so I wasn’t quite sure what to expect from this cookie, but it did not disappoint! You can’t tell from the photo, but the inside was just STUFFED with chocolatey goodness that crept into every bite. So good!!
Mediterranea Seawater Kettle Cooked Potato Chips
Crispy, kettle cooked potato chips with just 3 simple ingredients: potatoes, olive oil, and seawater. These are actually made with Spain-grown potatoes that are bathed in purified seawater from the Mediterranean Sea. Neat!
Keep Healthy Fruitkies Chocolate Covered Mango
I was a little hesitant to try this chocolate covered mango bar, but it wasn’t too bad. I think the chocolate itself could have been better — it didn’t taste very “dark”. The mango part was good though!
NibMor Dark Chocolate with Cacao Nibs
This certified organic, non-GMO, fair trade chocolate bar is both gluten-free and vegan-friendly. It’s also full of little cacao nibs that gives it a nice crunch. Mmm!
Oh, SnackSack, you never disappoint! My favorites this time were the More Good Life cookie, Mediterranea Seawater kettle chips, OCHO coconut bar, Chewie Fruities, and NibMor bar. 🙂 — Remember, if you’d like to try out SnackSack for yourself, you can save 10% for LIFE with coupon code “ROSE″!
