Disclosure: I received this box for review purposes. I was not compensated in any way. All opinions are my own. Post may contain affiliate and/or referral links.
Subscriptions are $22/month for the Classic box, or $24/month for the Vegan and Gluten Free options. All boxes ship free within the US ($9.99 to Canada) & discounts are available for multi-month plans. — For a limited time, you can save 10% for LIFE (includes all future renewals) with coupon code “ROSE″!
Let’s see what’s in the February 2019 Vegan SnackSack!
As always, everything was shipped in their custom blue (turquoise?) & white Snack Sack box.
A peek inside!
A tri-fold info sheet listed all of the items included in each of the 3 available boxes (Classic, Vegan, and Gluten-Free) and gave brief descriptions of each product.
Popchips Sea Salt Popped Chip Snack
Popchips are crispy potato snacks that are “popped” (using heat and pressure) instead of deep fried. They’re gluten free and contain no trans fats, GMOs, artificial flavors, colors, or added preservatives. They also have 50% less fat than traditional chips.
Hippeas Organic Chickpea Puffs
Yum, chickpea puffs! These morsels of puffed goodness are 100% vegan and made with all natural/organic ingredients including chickpea flour, rice flour, sunflower oil, seasonings, and pea hull fiber. All of the flavors are good, but this Vegan White Cheddar one is definitely my favorite. 🙂
Skout Sea Salt & Vinegar Organic Pumpkin Seeds
These organic, USA grown pumpkin seeds are flavored with apple cider vinegar and pink Himalayan sea salt for a savory, yet healthy snack. Each serving contains 180 calories and 10 grams of plant-based protein.
Hubs Home Cooked Salted Virginia Peanuts
Lightly salted home-cooked peanuts from a family owned company. Made with just peanuts, coconut oil, and salt.
The GFB Gluten-Free Dark Chocolate Coconut Bites
I’ve gotten these in a few other subscription boxes over the last couple years and I love ’em. They’re little truffle-like bites made with wholesome ingredients including crisped brown rice, dates, toasted coconut, flaxseed and more. Not only are they gluten-free, but soy-free and vegan-friendly as well.
Oogie’s Original Kettlecorn Gourmet Popcorn
Mmm… Kettlecorn! This sweet & salty snack is made with non-GMO corn and is flavored with sugar, sunflower oil, and salt. It’s both gluten-free and (of course) vegan-friendly. Yum!
Bitsy’s Sweet Potato Oatmeal Raisin Cookies
These crispy little cookies are made with wholesome organic ingredients including whole wheat flour, oats, pea protein, and real veggies. They’re nut-free, vegan-friendly, and each cookie is stamped with an inspiration message. Cool!
Bakery on Main Extreme Fruit & Nut Gluten-Free Granola
This non-GMO granola is both vegan friendly & gluten-free and features sunflower seeds, raisins, almonds, flax seeds, sesame seeds, dried coconut, walnuts, cranberries, and more.
Sweetsmith Candy Co. Gingerbread Peanut Brittle
I honestly don’t recall if I’ve ever actually tried peanut brittle before, so I’m looking forward to sampling this vegan-friendly bar. It’s made with the traditional peanuts and sugar, along with cinnamon, ginger, and nutmeg for a gingerbread flavored treat.
Harvest Snaps Black Pepper Flavored Green Pea Crisps
My girls and I love these pea crisps! They’re made with real green peas and taste like a vegan-friendly “cheese” puff. They contain 50% less fat than regular potato chips and have 4 grams of plant-based protein per serving. I’m not quite sure that my kids’ll be into the black pepper flavor, but I’ll certainly enjoy ’em.
Surf Sweets Organic Gummy Candies
I don’t eat chewy/gummy candies very often, but I always make an exception for Surf Sweets! These sweet little treats are gelatin-free and free from the top 10 allergens. They’re also naturally flavored and colored with fruit & veggie juice. 🙂
February’s SnackSack box included a nice variety of salty snacks, sweet treats, and more. My favorites this month were the Hippeas chickpea puffs, Gluten Free Bites, Bitsy’s cookies, and Surf Sweets gummies. — Remember, if you’d like to try out SnackSack for yourself, you can save 10% for LIFE with coupon code “ROSE″!
