Let’s see what’s in the January 2017 SnackSack!
The box o’ snacks!
A peek inside.
The information card listed everything inside, along with helpful symbols next to each one indicating whether it’s vegan, gluten-free, and/or non-GMO. This month they also included the retail values for each one.
Wild Garden Snack Box to Go ($3.60)
A healthy snack combo perfect for enjoying on the go! This box includes a packet of roasted garlic hummus, along with a bag of multi-grain sea salt flavored pita chips.
Mrs. Thinsters Chocolate Chip Cookie Thins ($0.61)
Thin, crunchy cookies made without artificial flavors, colors, or preservatives. They’re also peanut allergen friendly and non-GMO.
Earnest Eats Apple Ginger Bar ($1.75)
A 100% natural vegan snack bar made with wholesome ingredients including whole rolled oats, almond butter, raisins, organic dried apples, walnuts, and more. I’ve had a few different flavors of these bars and they’ve always been tasty. 🙂
Crunchy Rob’s Himalayan Pink Salt Popcorn ($1.49)
Popcorn has been one of my go-to snacks lately, so I was happy to see this pre-portioned bag to lessen my chance of over-indulging. 😉 This is made with just three ingredients: non-GMO butterfly popcorn, sunflower oil, and Himalayan salt. The entire bag has just 90 calories.
Dr. Pops All Natural Supplement Lollipops for Kids ($3.30)
These came at a great time, since one of my kiddos is currently dealing with some serious sniffles. Unfortunately, she refused to finish the Zinc + Vitamin C lollipop after just a few minutes. Aw. 🙁 I’m guessing it was the whole “made without added sugar or artificial flavors” thing. Fingers crossed that the honey one will go over a little better.
Bite Fuel Peanut Butter Power Bites Protein Cookies ($3)
High protein, gluten-free cookies made without any artificial preservatives, trans fats, or high fructose corn syrup. Each serving has just 140 calories and 6 grams of protein.
Bite Fuel Red Berry Protein Granola Trail Mix ($2)
This granola looks super good and I’m kinda bummed that it’s not vegan (same with those cookies up there!). It’s made with non-GMO almonds, dried cherries, gluten free oats, whey protein isolate, dried cranberries, and more. Each serving has 3 grams of fiber and 10 grams of protein.
Party-Tizers Dippin’ Chips Veggie Tortilla Chips ($1.39)
Crunchy tortilla chips made with US homegrown corn and a blend of veggies including kale, carrots and spinach. I’ve had these before and I really like ’em. 🙂
Coffee Blocks Better Butter Coffee ($2.99)
I’ve never tried butter coffee, and considering the non-vegan ingredients, I don’t think I ever will. 😉 This packet contains coffee, grass fed clarified butter, organic virgin coconut oil, organic vanilla extract & organic egg yolk powder. Just mix with hot water and you’re good to go.
Torie & Howard Chewie Fruities ($1.59)
Yum! I love these candies! They’re sort of like a healthier, vegan-friendly version of Starburst and they’re delicious.
I really enjoyed the selection of snacks & treats in this month’s SnackSack! My favorite items were the popcorn, veggie tortilla chips, Earnest Eats bar, fruit chews, and hummus/pita chip combo. 🙂 — Remember, if you’d like to try out SnackSack for yourself, you can save 10% on your first purchase with my exclusive coupon code “ROSE10″!
