Let’s see what’s in the July 2016 SnackSack!
The big white & green SnackSack box!
A peek inside. — This month the “sack” was simply folded and placed on top of the snacks. (I’m starting to think maybe they regret the whole sack thing at this point. 😉 )
The information card listed everything inside, along with helpful symbols next to each one indicating whether it’s vegan, gluten-free, and/or non-GMO.
Love Grown Foods Blueberry Vanilla Polar Puffs – I received a different flavor of this kid-friendly cereal in another snack box this month and it was a big hit with my girls. These blueberry-vanilla puffs are actually made with garbanzo beans, navy beans, and lentils! They’re also wheat & corn free, made with natural colors & flavors, and vegan-friendly.
Oogie’s Movie Lover’s Gourmet Popcorn – All natural, buttery popcorn made with premium non-GMO corn. It’s gluten free, trans-fat free, and a good source of fiber.
Oogie’s White Cheddar Gourmet Popcorn – More non-GMO popcorn, but flavored with real cheddar cheese.
Tosi Cashew SuperBites – I don’t love cashews, but I’ve had these bars before and they’re surprisingly good. Filling too! They’re made with organic ingredients including cashews (of course), golden flaxseed, white sesame seeds, and more.
EatSmart Snacks Sea Salt Garden Veggie Chips – Gluten-free & vegan-friendly veggie chips made with tomatoes, potatoes, spinach, and other natural ingredients. Only 100 calories per serving.
Ocean’s Halo Sea Salt Seaweed Snack – I know it’s super good for you, but I just can’t get down with seaweed. I really wish I could… this entire package has just 20 calories!
Bakery on Main Nutty Cranberry Maple Granola – While I don’t love that the second ingredient in this is evaporated cane juice, I do love granola. This is both vegan & gluten-free and features cranberries, sunflower seeds, almonds, pecans, and more.
The Cookie Department Great Full Cookie – I was SO excited when I pulled this cookie out of the box. I received this in another subscription box a couple years ago and it was amazing. I believe it’s the only vegan-friendly cookie they offer and am SO thankful SnackSack decided to include it over the others. Yum!!
You Love Fruit Tart Peach Handmade Fruit Leather – If they were to send You Love Fruit in every box, I wouldn’t be mad. 😉 These little heart-shaped fruit leather bites are incredibly tasty and I haven’t found a flavor I didn’t like.
Glee Gum Chewing Gum in Wild Watermelon – This all natural chewing gum is sweetened with 100% xylitol and contains no artificial colors, flavors, sweeteners, or preservatives.
Yep, another nice offering from SnackSack! However — I did notice that my box was missing a bag of Beanitos Honey Chipotle BBQ Chips, which was kind of a bummer (especially since I love me some BBQ flavor!). Ah well. My favorites this month were the Polar Puffs, fruit leather, Tosi bar, and of course that big vegan cookie! — Remember, if you’d like to try out SnackSack for yourself, you can save 10% on your first purchase with my exclusive coupon code “ROSE10″!
