Let’s see what’s in the July 2017 SnackSack!
The big white & green box!
A peek inside. — Jam-packed as usual.
The information card listed everything inside, along with helpful symbols next to each one indicating whether it’s vegan, gluten-free, and/or non-GMO. They also included the retail values as well.
These crunchy garden herb flavored snacks are made with real veggies including peas, red bell peppers, tomatoes, and garlic. They’re non-GMO, gluten-free, vegan, and have just 100 calories per serving. My stubbornly anti-veggie kids actually enjoy these, so I was happy to see them in the box. 🙂
A 100% organic fruit & nut snack made with pure ingredients including mangos, pineapples, cashews, bananas, shredded coconut, and lime juice. This pouch had 2 servings, but I happily polished it off in 1. Yum!
Crunchy little nuggets of half-popped popcorn made with non-GMO corn and flavored with sea salt. Sort of like a slightly less crunchy version of a corn nut.
I’ve had these chips a few times now and I’m happy to see their return. They’re a mix of yellow and blue tortilla chips made with stone ground corn, vegetable oil, and salt. They’re gluten-free, vegan-friendly, and make a nice little snack.
Surf Sweets Watermelon Rings ($2.30)
I don’t normally reach for candy that’s coated in sugar, but I might make an exception for these watermelon rings. Not only are they gelatin-free, but they’re also made with all natural colors & flavors. No icky corn syrup either!
A handy on-the-go snack pack consisting of Justin’s maple flavored almond butter and crunchy pretzel sticks. I’m a big fan of Justin’s nut butters, so these will be gone in no time.
Saffron Road Chickbean Crisps ($1.30)
A crunchy snack made with a blend of chickpeas and veggies including lentils, yellow split peas, and sweet potatoes. The crisps are gluten-free, non-GMO, and vegan-friendly.
Organic, gluten-free tortilla chips made with real whole grains including red rice and quinoa. They’re slightly spicy with a hint of sweetness.
Bite-sized pasta snacks made with all natural ingredients including semolina flour, nonfat dry milk powder, olive oil, and real cheddar cheese. They’re oven baked and have just 120 calories per serving.
Organic hazelnut spread made with all natural, non-GMO ingredients. This contains 40% less sugar than the leading brand and is both vegan-friendly and gluten free. Thanks to the inclusion of flaxseed and chia seeds, the spread also has 450mg of plant-based omega-3 per serving.
I don’t always include coupons in my reviews, but I always make an exception when they’re for a FREE product. — In this case one free Arctic Zero Fit Frozen Dessert Pint or Bars. ($5.99 value!)
So many vegan-friendly goodies in this month’s SnackSack box! My personal favorites were the Nutty Goodness Fruit & Nut Bites, Justin’s Snack Pack, RW Garcia chips, and Surf Sweets Watermelon Rings. 🙂 — Remember, if you’d like to try out SnackSack for yourself, you can save 25% on your first box with my exclusive coupon code “ROSE25″!
