Let’s see what’s in the March 2019 Vegan SnackSack!
As always, everything was shipped in their custom blue (turquoise?) & white Snack Sack box.
A peek inside!
A tri-fold info sheet listed all of the items included in each of the 3 available boxes (Classic, Vegan, and Gluten-Free) and gave brief descriptions of each product.
Beanfields Pico de Gallo Bean Chips
Beanfields chips are one of my favorite subscription box snack discoveries and they don’t pop up in them as often as they used to. Hopefully this is a sign of a Beanfields revival! 😉 The chips are actually made with beans and rice, but you’d never know. You’d also never guess that they were vegan-friendly. I LOVE ’em!
Tosí Cashew Super Bites
These healthy snack bars are made with pure and simple ingredients including cashews, chia seeds, flax seeds, and sesame seeds. They packed with plenty of protein, fiber, & omega 3’s and are certified gluten free. Two flavors were included in March’s box — Blueberry Cashew and plain ol’ Cashew.
Bohana Popped Water Lily Seeds
I can’t say that I’ve ever eaten water lily seeds before, nor did I knew that you could. According to the info card, they’ve been consumed in India for thousands of years and are the one of the most popular seeds in Ayurveda. These particular seeds are “popped” and seasoned with spices for a light, crunchy snack.
Wat-U-See Zesty Ranch Popped Chickpeatos
I’ve had these chickpea-based snack puffs a few times before and they’re pretty good. They’re made with a blend of green peas, rice, chickpeas, rice milk, sunflower oil, and a handful of flavorful spices. One serving has 3 grams of fiber, 3 grams of protein, and only 100 calories. These are also gluten-free and vegan friendly.
Verb Energy Co. Simply Cocoa Energy Bar
This tiny energy bar is loaded with just as much caffeine as an espresso! It’s vegan, gluten-free, and made with all natural ingredients including gluten-free oats, almond butter, organic crisp brown rice, organic unsweetened cocoa powder, and organic green tea.
Price of Peace Ginger Chews with Lychee
I love ginger chews! These ones from Prince of Peace are made with real ginger and feature an extra fruity flair thanks to the addition of lychee flavor. Each piece is individually wrapped and perfect for taking on the go.
R.e.d.d. Salted Caramel Energy Bar
This gluten-free & vegan-friendly energy bar provides you with 10 grams of plant-based protein, 4 grams of fiber, and 36 mg of caffeine (equivalent to 1/3 cup of coffee). It’s soy-free, non-GMO, and contains 23 different vitamins & minerals.
Enlightened Mesquite BBQ Bada Bean Bada Boom
These roasted broad (fava) beans are a great alternative to nuts, chips, or even croutons. Each serving contains just 100 calories, 7 grams of protein, 5 grams of fiber, and only 1 gram of sugar.
Brothers All Natural Strawberry Fruit Crisps
This all natural, kid-friendly snack is made with 100% freeze dried strawberries. There are no additives, preservatives, dyes, or sweeteners of any kind. A great, less messy alternative to fresh fruit.
Radiant Recipes Chocolate Peanut Butter Cookies
Okay, I saved the best for last! Though, to be fair, I haven’t even tried these cookies yet (soon!)… But how can you go wrong with chewy chocolate peanut butter flavored cookies loaded with semisweet chocolate chips? Yum! [UPDATE: I ate them and they were even better than I was hoping. SO good!!)
Another jam-packed box of vegan goodies from SnackSack! My favorites this month were the Beanfields chips, Prince of Peace ginger chews, Brothers All Natural Strawberry Crisps, and of course those Radiant Recipes cookies. — Remember, if you’d like to try out SnackSack for yourself, you can save 10% for LIFE with coupon code “ROSE″!
