Let’s see what’s in the May 2017 SnackSack!
The box!
A peek inside.
The information card listed everything inside, along with helpful symbols next to each one indicating whether it’s vegan, gluten-free, and/or non-GMO. They also included the retail values as well.
Dick & Jane Educational Snacks
These vanilla flavored “educational” cookies are stamped with phrases in both Spanish and English. They’re made with whole grains and are nut-free. We’ve gotten these in other snack boxes and my kids are always happy to see them.
Bitsy’s Brainfood Maple Carrot Crisps
Puzzle-shaped snacks made with organic ingredients including wheat flour, dehydrated carrots, sweet potato powder, maple syrup, and more. Each serving contains the equivalent of 1/2 serving of veggies.
HannahMax Baking Crunchy Cookie Chips
Thin & crispy cinnamon sugar flavored cookie “chips” made without any artificial colors, flavors, or preservatives.
Olives to Go!
Large sized black California pitted olives in a handy “on the go” container. I’m not a fan of black olives (I prefer green), but my kiddos LOVE these things!
Dolcetto Petites Chocolate Wafer Bites
All natural wafer bites with a rich chocolate filling and crispy outer shell. They’re free of high fructose corn syrup and have just 100 calories per serving.
Brothers All Natural Fruit Crisps
We buy these for the girls every week and they never get tired of ’em. They’re real freeze-dried apple slices with 100% fruit — no sugar added. A simple, healthy snack.
Beanitos Baked White Bean Mac n’ Cheese Crunch
Baked cheese puffs made with non-GMO ingredients including whole navy beans, long grain rice, cheddar cheese, and black pepper.
PopCORNers Carnival Kettle Popped Corn Chips
Crunchy kettle corn flavored popped corn chips made with all natural ingredients. They’re non-GMO, gluten-free, and vegan friendly. 🙂
Love Grown Blueberry Banana Walnut Hot Oats
Gluten-free oatmeal made with oats (gluten free), brown sugar, freeze-dried bananas, walnuts, freeze-dried blueberries, and cinnamon. It’s high in protein and fiber, but low in sugar and fat. It can be eaten as traditional oatmeal OR as a muffin by adding an egg & 1 tbsp water and microwaving for 75-90 seconds.
Primal Kitchen Coconut Cashew Bar
A gluten-free, paleo-friendly snack bar made with cashews, pumpkin seeds, grass-fed hydrolyzed collagen, and other natural ingredients. One serving has just 3 grams of sugar and an impressive 15 grams of protein.
Mediterra Savory Bar
This Mediterranean-inspired energy bar is packed with nutrient-rich fruits, vegetables, nuts, grains, and seeds. It’s gluten-free and contains 5 grams of protein & 6 grams of fiber per serving.
Barney Butter Smooth Almond Butter
Handy single-serve packets of non-gmo almond butter to enjoy on the go. These are gluten-free and made in a peanut-free facility.
Another jam-packed box from SnackSack! My favorite items this time were kettle corn chips, almond butter packets, maple carrot crisps. 🙂 — Remember, if you’d like to try out SnackSack for yourself, you can save 25% on your first box with my exclusive coupon code “ROSE25″!
