September SnackSack time!
If you haven’t heard, SnackSack is a relatively new subscription box that focuses on delivering natural, “junk-free” snacks to your door every month. All of the snacks included will be free of “artificial junk” and offer a mixture of all natural, vegan, organic, non-GMO, gluten-free, and fair trade products. They’ll all be tucked inside a reusable burlap sack, which is shipped in a large box for ultimate snack protection.
Subscriptions are $23/month with free shipping. Discounts are also available for multi-month plans. (There’s also one at the end of this post!)
Let’s see what’s in the September 2015 SnackSack!
A peek inside. So many snacks!
The information card listed everything inside, along with a brief description. There are also little symbols next to each one indicating whether it’s vegan, gluten-free, and/or non-GMO.
Barbara’s Bakery Snackimals Cookies – We’re big fans of Barbara’s Bakery (my girls love their Puffins cereal), so I’m always happy to see the brand featured in subscription boxes. These are little animal-shaped oatmeal cookies made with organic grain and 100% non-GMO ingredients.
Annie’s Chocolate Bunny Grahams – We love Annie’s too! These bunny-shaped cookies are made with organic wheat and contain no artificial flavors, colors, or preservatives. A perfect toddler snack.
Made in Nature Italian Espresso Toasted Coconut Chips – I’ve never had espresso flavored coconut chips before, so these will be fun to try. They’re made with organic, non-GMO coconut with no artificial ingredients.
Belgian Boys De Liege Wafel – An authentic Belgian waffle made with all natural ingredients and topped with a coating of caramelized sugar.
Enlightened Roasted Broad Bean Crisps – A light roasted bean snack packed with protein and fiber. One package has just 100 calories.
Beanfields Bean & Rice Nacho Chips – Yes! Beanfields are one of my favorite subscription box snack discoveries and I love when they pop up in various boxes. They’re made with beans and rice, but you’d never know. You’d also never guess that they were vegan-friendly. SO good.
Sinfully Thin Blue Corn Popcorn – Blue corn is sweeter and more tender than regular popcorn. It also has more protein and less starch. This whole package has just 45 calories of all natural popcorn for guiltless snacking.
Ginnybakes Butter Crisp Mini Cookies – These little butter cookies are made with organic, non-GMO ingredients. They’re also gluten-free and made with “love and passion”.
World Peas Texas Barbeque Peas – This snack is made with green peas that are flavored with a smokey BBQ blend. They’re gluten-free, vegan, and surprisingly tasty.
Wonderful Pistachios – A simple snack consisting of roasted & salted pistachios.
Simple Squares Cho-Coco Organic Nutrition Bar – An organic snack bar made with clean ingredients including honey, nuts, and coconut.
The GFB Gluten Free Bar – I’ve had one of these bars before and really enjoyed it. This one is cranberry almond flavor and contains an impressive 12 grams of protein. It’s also vegan, non-GMO, and obviously gluten-free.
Another great box of healthy (and tasty) snacks from SnackSack. I like that so many of the items this month were toddler-friendly and of course I’m always happy to see so many vegan ones too!
