Let’s see what’s in the September 2018 Vegan SnackSack!
Everything was shipped in their newly designed blue & white Snack Sack box.
A peek inside!
A tri-fold info sheet listed all of the items included in each of the 3 available boxes (Classic, Vegan, and Gluten-Free) and gave brief descriptions of each product.
SunWarrior Sol Good Coconut Cashew Protein Bar
I’m always happy to try new vegan protein bars. This one is made with non-GMO ingredients including organic brown rice/pea/quinoa protein powders, organic sunflower butter, organic coconut, organic roasted cashews, and organic cacao butter. It has a whopping 17 grams of protein and 17 grams of fiber — with just 3 grams of sugar.
The Protein Ball Co. Lemon + Pistachio Balls
Another new-to-me product, these protein balls are made with all natural ingredients including dates, cashews, pistachios, coconut, and rice & pea protein. They’re vegan, gluten-free, soy-free, and contain no added sugars.
Handfulls Crrrunch Bites! BBQ Almonds
These crunchy snack bites are actually whole roasted almonds that have been wrapped in a crispy rice cracker shell & flavored with BBQ seasoning. The nut/chip hybrids are gluten free, vegan, and quite an interesting creation. 😉
Rise Buddy Rice Snacks
A healthier alternative to regular potato chips, these Rise Buddy snacks are made with brown rice and are baked, not fried. They’re also gluten-free and contain no trans fats.
Dipin Roasted Red Pepper Hummus
Shelf-stable hummus in a convenient single serve packet. Perfect for taking on the go, it’s made with traditional hummus components including chickpeas, red peppers, tahini, and garlic.
Extraordinary Snack Co. Banana Not Bread
I LOVE banana bread, so I’m excited to try this banana not bread snack. It consists of a sweet & crunchy blend of sprouted walnuts, cinnamon, bananas, organic raw blue agave, and Himalayan sea salt. Mmm!
Jana Banana Banana Bar with Coconut
An all natural snack bar made with sun-ripened bananas and flavored with real coconut. It’s vegan, gluten-free, paleo, non-GMO, and contains no artificial flavors, colors or preservatives.
Sheffa Café Mocha Granola Bar
A gluten-free & vegan-friendly granola bar made with non-GMO ingredients including certified gluten free oats, puffed brown rice, dark chocolate, hazelnuts, date syrup, sesame seeds, brown sugar, pea protein, coffee powder, cocoa powder, and sea salt.
Bjorn Qorn Savory Sun-Popped Corn
I first tried this popcorn a couple years ago — when I was still on team “anti-nutritional yeast”. These days, I actually like its savory flavor so I was excited to get to try (and enjoy!) this product a second time around. Yay!
SunRype Apple Wildberry Fruit to Go
An natural gluten-free/vegan fruit snack made with apples, strawberries, watermelon, and natural flavors. It’s also nut-free and contains just 50 calories per serving.
Farmhouse Culture Dill Pickle Kraut Krisps
Organic corn chips that not only taste good, but also have the added benefit of probiotics to support healthy digestion. They actually have 2 billion probiotic cultures per serving! They’re also vegan, gluten-free, and non-GMO.
K Pop! Foods Sea Salt Seaweed Snacks
A crispy seaweed snack made with just 4 simple ingredients: seaweed, sunflower oil, sesame oil, and sea salt.
Aside from that final item (I just can’t get into you, seaweed), September’s SnackSack box was another hit! My favorites this time were the Bjorn Qorn, SunWarror protein bar, Banana Not Bread, lemon & pistachio protein balls, and Kraut Krisps. — Remember, if you’d like to try out SnackSack for yourself, you can save 10% for LIFE with coupon code “ROSE″!
