10 Storks is a new subscription box set to open up shop on August 1st. It’s a box geared towards expectant moms and features necessities (and treats!) that every momma-to-be needs (and wants!). Many of the products are organic and all are 100% safe for mom and her little womb friend. 😉
Each box corresponds to a different month/stage of pregnancy and there are 10 boxes in all — One for each month, and a “bonus” box of baby essentials once the little bundle arrives. The 10th box is FREE — regardless of which month you sign up!
I was sent “Month 2” for review and I gotta say… I was happily surprised with its contents! Being that it’s a brand new box AND that I’m not pregnant (woo!), I was a little nervous about what I’d be receiving. So what DID I receive? Let’s have a look-see…
Mambino Organics Moroccan Clay Face Scrub – 100% natural exfoliating face scrub for all skin types. Gentle enough for sensitive skin (like mine!). I was excited to see that this can also be used as a mask, since I’ve gotten into using them thanks to sub boxes. Cruelty-free and of course, safe to use during pregnancy! (Amazon Price: $19.00)
Also included were 2 samples of Belly Butter and Youth Glow face serum. (I’ll “guess-timate” the price at $2.00 for both)
“Oh, Baby, the Places You’ll Go!” Mini Hardcover Book – I wish I had this when I was pregnant with the girls! It’s written to be read in utero so your baby (or babies) can get used to your voice and be introduced to the timeless works of Dr. Seuss. Such a cute idea. (Amazon Price: $6.29)
Baby Mama Angel Baby Teas – What would a sub box be without tea? 😉 At least it makes sense in this one, since it serves a practical purpose. Included were 4 bags of Organic Heartburn Tea and 4 bags Organic Morning Wellness Tea. I sooo could have used these last year. Nausea in the first trimester was no joke. Same for heartburn in my third. SO bad. These definitely would have come in handy. Actually, I could still use them, pregnant or not. Emphasis on “not”. (Amazon Price: roughly $2.16 for 8)
Newman’s Own Organics Peppermints – I always see these at my grocery store and think about buying them but never do. Now I don’t have to. Yay. I was ALL about peppermint and ginger in my first semester, so this would have been very appreciated. (Amazon Price: $2.25)
Tums – Definitely a pregnancy necessity! I used these (well, generic ones, haha) pretty much daily in order to get a nice calcium boost. Once the third trimester rolled around, I inhaled the damn things! These are always good to have on hand, whether it be for pregnancy or… Chinese food. (Amazon Price: $3.06)
Summer Sanders’ Prenatal Workout DVD – Medically-approved exercises safe for all trimesters. Full length and “express” workout options. I can’t say I would have used this. I mean, I’d like to SAY that I would have used it, but I wouldn’t have actually used it, ya know? I didn’t exercise before I got knocked up (classy!), so I sure as hell wasn’t going to once I was all full of babies. Nope. (Amazon Price: $11.96)
Nexxus Hair Care products – I’ve never used Nexxus products before and was happy to see that they’re not tested on animals. Included were Ultimate Moisture shampoo (Amazon Price: $3.51) and conditioner (Amazon Price: $8.82), along with Comb Thru finishing mist (Amazon Price: $5.49). This must be good stuff, considering that those were all prices for the travel-sized bottles I received. Yeesh!
So there you have it — Month 2 of the 10 Storks Box. Not bad, right? I would have used everything in it (well, minus the DVD) when I was pregnant and I can still use more than half of it now. Yay!
Each box is $40/month and there’s also an option for a one-time “Pregnancy Survival Box” ($60) that contains some of the best items from months 1-9. As mentioned earlier, the 10th box is always free! The value of all of the items in this box, when totaled, comes to (roughly) $64.54! Awesome! I’m totally impressed with 10 storks… I just wish they were around a year ago. 😉
UPDATE: All good things must come to an end... This subscription is no longer in operation.Disclosure: This box was received for review purposes. I was not compensated in any other way. All opinions are my own. Amazon prices subject to change. Post contains affiliate links.

Do you know when they ship? My last month of pregnancy is August, but I would love to get a box for that last month. And I’m due the last day of the month. I could use some pregnancy relief and spoiling right before my son arrives.

Their Facebook page says that they launch on August 1st, and ship on the 15th. It couldn’t hurt to send them a message and see if you could get it a little sooner. 😉

What a great concept! Pregnancy kits, baby boxes and a monthly subscription for a new surprise each and every month. I’m assuming you’ll be doing a new post each month after the stork arrives? 🙂

Looks like they’ve been gone for a while now. No idea what happened. 🙁
