October’s box was themed around the “tastes, scents, and colors of Fall”. All of the items were listed on the enclosed info sheet, along with descriptions and retail values for each one.
Southern Twisted Soaps Pumpkin Soufflé Body Lotion ($6.50) – Oooh! This handcrafted body lotion is absolutely perfect for autumn. The scent is sweet, nutty, pumpkin-y, and just plain awesome. Ingredients include shea butter, sweet almond oil, cocoa butter, and vitamin E oil. I can’t stop sniffing it! 😉
Midnight Fantasy Gourmet Marshmallows by Viveltre ($5.99) – These gourmet marshmallows are crafted using only the highest quality, 100% natural ingredients with no artificial flavorings, food colorings, or chemical preservatives. “Midnight Fantasy” features tasty swirls of real Nutella hazelnut spread.
The Marlow Bracelet by Thursday Night Jewelry Co. ($20) – A very fall-inspired bracelet, this piece features cream/brown jasper beads with a gold accented jasper arrowhead charm. Not quite my style, but pretty nonetheless.
Modern Forestry Appalachian Maple Bourbon Candle ($9.95) – I am 100% in LOVE with this little candle. It was made near Greenville, SC, where it was hand-poured and triple scented with real essential oils. It’s composed of pure, American-grown soy wax and a natural cotton wick. The scent is an incredible mix of “freshly baked cinnamon apples with a hint of bourbon sweetness”. Perfection!
Caramel Corn by Cork’s Kettle Corn ($3.50) – Aw, how cute is that little popcorn guy in their logo? This classic caramel corn is made in small batches in the heart of Georgia. It contains all natural ingredients including non-GMO corn, brown sugar, butter, and coconut oil.
What a great debut box from Our Southern Hearts! They chose an impressive assortment of autumn-inspired products and the scents of both the candle & lotion are absolutely perfect to accompany the season. I was lucky enough to find out about “Our Southern Hearts” during its creation stage. As soon as sign ups opened I put my name down. The curator has an amazing sense of style and taste. This first box just goes to show what we, as subscribers, can look forward to in the months to come!! If you can’t tell , I HIGHLY recommend this box and urge you to give it a try. You won’t be disappointed.
