Every time I get my hands on the latest Sudsy Box I feel like I’ve just been given an official okay for a little “me time”. The inviting scents that pour from the box make it damn near impossible to resist the urge to hop into the tub. The addition of bath salts this month sealed the deal.
Sudsy Box is a subscription box that sends you 3 full-sized handmade bars of soap every other month. They also include a bonus body product in each box (hand sanitizer, lip balm, etc).
The soaps are all natural and handmade by Heidi’s Artisan Soap, who has just merged with Sudsy Box to form Sudsy & Co. What does this mean for Sudsy Box? Not much. It’s still the same great box with the same great products. The only difference is the packaging/logo. Oh, and the addition of a luxury product line too!
All of Sudsy & Co.’s soaps are vegan, gluten-free and contain zero artificial colors or fragrances. Each box features products that highlight the scents of the particular season in which it’s shipped.
Sudsy Box is just $20 every other month — shipping included!
Let’s see what’s in February’s box!
Sudsy Box came in the same small box as I’m used to seeing. It also smelled just as amazing as usual, even before opening it up.
First look. Yep, still the same Sudsy Box we know and love.
A peek inside — so pink & “Valentine-y”!
The info card listed all of the products in the box, as well as their retail values.
Wild Rose – I like to keep the soaps wrapped until I’m ready to use ’em, but I really should have opened this to show you how pretty it is. I saw it on their site and it’s gorgeous. (Feel free to click the photo above to have a look!) It’s one of their newer soaps and perfect for Valentine’s Day. The all natural olive oil/coconut oil/shea butter base is infused with rose oil & rose kaolin clay, then topped with dried rose petals for a truly indulgent bathing experience!
Okay, nevermind, I’m totally using the photo from their site to show you just how pretty it is…
See? Told you it was pretty.
Woodland Mint – Mmm. This bar is made with cocoa powder, chlorella, cocoa butter and other all natural ingredients that work together to pamper your skin. Chlorella contains lots of antioxidants, as does cocoa. The natural butters and oils help hydrate, while peppermint oil gives it a clean & refreshing aroma.
Orange Mocha Espresso – This bar was sent in a previous Sudsy Box and I’m happy to see it appear again. It’s a great blend that uses real coffee as an exfoliant. The combination of cocoa butter, orange essential oil, and coffee makes for a bar of soap that smells good enough to eat. Yum!
“Pamper Me” Bath Tea – Yep, I definitely used this the night I received my box. My kiddos were being major turds all day and I really needed a little me time. This fragrant sachet contains dead sea salt, oatmeal, rose petals, lavender buds, and lavender essential oil. Just drop it in the bath, squeeze it a bit to release the goodness, and think happy thoughts. The whole “squeezing the bag” part was oddly satisfying. It got really mushy due to the oats and was just plain fun to squish. 😉
As always, I’m more than happy with my Sudsy Box. I love holiday-themed boxes, so of course I enjoyed the Valentine’s Day feel it had goin’ on. The Wild Rose soap was definitely the stand-out this month. So, so pretty!
