A peek inside!
An info card listed all of the items in September’s “Ultimate Dog Pawty” themed box, along with brief descriptions and retail values for each one. As with all of the dog subscriptions I review, the intended recipient was Lucy — my mother-in-law’s puggle.
Zippy Paws Dog House Burrow ($15.99) – Okay, this is one of the cutest dog toys EVER. So cute that I let my 4-year-olds claim it as their own. 😉 (Sorry Lucy!) While intended for a dog to play hide-and-seek with, I just couldn’t bear the thought of these sweet little guys being torn apart by a feisty puggle. I made the mistake of looking up “zippy paws burrow” on Amazon and I’m seriously tempted to order another one. — They have hedgehogs, chipmunks, seahorses, monkeys, holiday-themed houses(!), and more. Adorable!
AnimaGanza AnimaFlingers ($8.99) – This easy to throw toy helps keep hands from having to grab slobbery surfaces. Just one finger is all you need to propel this bouncy bone into the air. You can also fill the finger hole with peanut butter or applesauce and freeze it for a special treat.
Big Daddy Biscuits ($7.50) – All natural, grain-free peanut butter flavored dog treats made in the USA. Ingredients include certified organic whole wheat flour, organic white flour, fresh ground organic peanut butter, farm fresh eggs, fresh organic oat, and organic cornmeal.
Noble Pet Company 6-Piece Gift Set ($16) – I had no idea that essential oils for pets were a thing, but… here they are! Included were an insect defense spray (and patches), calming spray, hot spot spray, and a vegan nose therapy balm.
Pooch Selfie Smart Phone Attachment ($12.99) – An easy to use cell phone attachment that helps you get perfect selfies with your pup. Just slide the clip onto the top of your phone, snap on the ball, and you’re set. When you’re ready to snap a pic, squeeze the ball (it squeaks!) to get your pal’s attention and click away.
Dog Waste Bags (sample) – A roll of poop bags is always important to have on hand. 😉
Pupper Pouch Bone-Shaped Carabiner ($3) – A handy little bone-shaped carabiner whose sale helps to support programs that connect service dogs to military veterans.
I was really impressed with the debut box from Surprise Pawty! It was packed with high quality toys & treats that any dog would be happy to receive. My favorite item was obviously the dog house burrow toy, which is by far the cutest dog toy I’ve gotten in a subscription box yet. So cute! The total value for September’s box was almost $65. Not bad! 🙂
