Swiggydiggydoo is a subscription box that features fun, high-quality products for babies and toddler-aged children.
All of the products included in a Swiggydiggydoo box are chosen with both your child and the environment in mind. They focus on items that are natural, BPA-free, eco-friendly, safe, and of course — fun! Their motto (quite fittingly) is “Clever & fun & responsibly done”.
Each box will include 3-5 items, including a custom designed limited edition t-shirt. Unlike many children’s subscriptions that are broken down by age, Swiggydiggydoo sends everyone the same assortment of products. The only variations will be in colors and t-shirt sizes (which you chose upon signing up). To give you an idea of the age range of the box, the sizes available at checkout start at 6-12 months and go up to size 4.
Subscriptions are $39.95/month, but you can also purchase a single box (non-recurring).
Let’s see what’s in April’s Swiggydiggydoo box!
The box. Simple, but it does the job.
A peek inside — colorful!
The info sheet listed all of the products I’d find inside, along with their reasons for choosing each one.
Swiggydiggydoo T-Shirt (~$10?) – Aw, what an adorable shirt! I love the simple design and the color is great — especially since it features a chunk of cheese on it. 😉 It’s made of 100% cotton and is really soft.
Haba Pure Nature Ball ($5.41) – This plush ball is made with organic cotton material on the outside and polyester filling inside. If your child is still at the “chew everything” stage, you won’t have to worry about exposing them to icky, chemically treated fabric. My girls are almost 3, so I think I’ll bring this along to an upcoming baby shower. I’m sure they’d still play around with it, but I think a baby would enjoy it more.
Spielstabil Mole Hand Set ($7.52) – We just bought the girls a little sandbox for our yard, so I’m happy to see this set of digging tools. Spielstabil is a great brand from Germany that makes ridiculously sturdy toys that are free of BPA and PVC. This set actually has a 3-year guarantee. Nice!
Handcrafted Affairs Custom Mouse Cuff ($12) – This is a handmade cuff bracelet made with real leather and painted with non-toxic, water-based acrylic paints. I like that it’s unique & handmade, but since it’s leather (I’m vegan and raising my kiddos vegetarian), I’ll be gifting this item as well.
Trendy Bubs Organic Cotton Slouchy Hat ($12) – While this looks like an infant/baby hat, it’s actually pretty large. According to their Instagram page, they come in a variety of sizes from infants to toddlers. This particular hat is made with organic cotton (they also offer “regular” cotton) and has a colorful feather print.
What a great box! I love that Swiggydiggydoo sources its products from both smaller, lesser-known eco-friendly companies, as well as more established (and just as “green”) ones. While some of the items seemed a little young for my girls (well, mainly the ball), I was still happy with the overall curation. Plus, I don’t mind having extra baby shower gifts. 😉
