Valentine’s Day is just a little over 2 weeks away! — I figured now would be a good time to compile a list of the best subscription boxes to give, put on your V-Day wish list, or buy for yourself (because why not?). I basically chose boxes that I’d be happy to receive myself, so if you’re anything like me you’ll love ’em. 😉 The boxes are in no particular order and include coupon codes when available. Enjoy! <3
Yep, I still have twins. 😉 Sadly, when the girls hit the 1-year mark and my monthly “photoshoots” came to an end, I pretty much stopped regularly sharing photos of them on here. (Pretty crummy of me since the blog is named after them and all.) In all honesty, I’m not sure how many of my current readers really give a flip about my kiddos. Or how much I should even share in a public space. What started as a personal blog about my twin pregnancy has evolved into something completely different and I’m fine with that. But the truth […]
LAST CHANCE! Depending on what you choose, you might still have time to get something awesome for your Valentine. Subscription boxes are a great last minute choice, and if you have Amazon Prime you can probably get something delivered by Saturday. Hey, better late than never, right? Once again, here’s my “10 Super Awesome Valentine’s Day Gift Ideas” post — with ideas for kids, husbands, friends, yourself. 😉 And here’s the link to the “Valentine’s Day Gift Ideas for Vegans” post — with awesome gift ideas for vegans and anyone who appreciates stuff that doesn’t suck. Also, I have a […]
I first talked about Twice in this post, when I told you how to get $30 in free credit. I know the promo code in that post is no longer valid, but I’m pretty sure you can still do the 2 other steps (sign up using this link=get $10, download their app=$10). Plus, you can “like” them on Facebook to get a code for 15% your whole order!! Aaaand now they have this new promo to save $15 on any order of $50 or more (plus free shipping!). Awesome! If you order soon, I’m guessing you’ll probaby get it by Valentine’s […]
Okay, so I already did a “Top 10” list of V-Day gift ideas for kids, moms & dads… But what about a list just for vegans? I mean, I’m a vegan, sooo… It only makes sense, right? Right! Oh, and you totally don’t have to be vegan to appreciate this stuff. Promise. The only criteria I used for the products on this list were: 1. They had to be vegan (duh) and 2. They had to be things I’d like to receive myself. 😉 Alright, let’s bring on the vegan-y goodness!
Oh, snap! There’s less than 4 weeks until V-Day! Have you procured suitable gifts for your loved ones yet? (I haven’t! haha) I thought I’d take some time to hunt down some fun Valentine’s Day gift ideas for everyone on your list (if V-day “lists” are even a thing). Enjoy! Gifts for the kiddos: Melissa & Doug Sweet Treat Tower – I would have LOVED this when I was little! I was obsessed with anything food-related, especially treats. I noticed the Melissa & Doug cookie set around Christmas time and really wanted to get it but was able to resist… This […]
Sjaak’s Organic Chocolates is a family-owned business that’s dedicated to producing awesome, high quality confections while maintaining socially responsible practices. All of Sjaak’s handcrafted treats are created with organic, non-GMO ingredients. They also support fair trade practices and promote a positive work environment. Jacques and Pam, the husband and wife team behind Sjaak’s, are longtime vegetarians. This is important to note, because in addition to their line of “traditional” confections, they also offer a full line of 100% vegan chocolates for their non-dairy eatin’ customers. (Like me!) 🙂 Sjaak’s was kind enough to send me some of their vegan chocolates to […]
So, it’s Valentine’s Day. Let’s pretend that I got all dressed up and went out for a fancypants dinner with my husband. Let’s pretend he brought me a dozen roses and a box of expensive vegan chocolates. (They were oh-so-yummy.) And since we’re all about bullshitting pretending, let’s pretend these are NOT Christmas dresses and that they wore them for more than 10 minutes.
