Take a Break Box is a new snack subscription for small and medium sized businesses to reward their employees with plenty of snacking options.
Every box will contain a mix of snacks for every craving — sweet, salty, crunchy, healthy, spicy, granola-y, and more. Larger, well-known brands will be featured as well as a few smaller, artisanal ones. Each box will include at least 30 snacks that will change with each shipment.
Subscriptions are $52.49/month, $49.99 bi-weekly, or $47.49 weekly. Shipping is included in the price for each plan.
Let’s see what’s in the July 2015 Take a Break Box!
The box itself was shipped inside of a larger outer one and it was HEAVY.
A peek inside. This was one seriously packed box o’ snacks. Let’s get right to it…
KettlePOP Organic Sea Salt Popcorn – Organic kettle-popped popcorn made with just 3 ingredients: non-GMO corn, soybean oil, and sea salt.
Popcorn, Indiana Kettlecorn – I LOVE kettle corn! For some reason I thought this brand’s version wasn’t vegan, but to my delight, it is! Woo!
Oreo Cookies – Did you know that Oreo’s happen to be vegan? Yep. They are. Needless to say, I was pretty stoked to see these guys.
KIND Healthy Grains Peanut Butter Dark Chocolate Bar – KIND bars are awesome and I was hoping I’d get to try this flavor, but it contains dairy. Boo. Ah well, my kiddos will enjoy it.
Mountain Pure Roasted Coconut Chips – A few years ago I probably would have turned my nose up at coconut chips, but thanks to getting so many in subscription boxes, I’m a big fan. Healthy and delicious!
Corn Nuts in Chile Picante Flavor – A crunchy, spicy corn snack.
Slim Jim Original – Whenever I see a Slim Jim, I think 80’s-era wrestler. I’m guessing one of them was a spokesperson? Macho Man, maybe?
Nature Valley Salted Caramel Peanut Nut Crisp Bar – I used to love Nature Valley granola bars before going vegan. So good.
Wrinklets Gummy Candy – I gotta say, that’s an odd name for a gummy candy. I just… don’t get it. Wrinklets? Weird name aside, these don’t contain gelatin, so that’s cool.
Charms Blow Pop – A grape sucker, sucka.
Ghirardelli Evening Dream Chocolate Square – I was surprised to see this was the only real chocolate item in the box, but then I remembered that it’s summer & a bajillion degrees out. I’m guessing they send more of it in the cooler months.
Airheads Candy – Another treat for the fans of sweet.
Funley’s Stix in the Mud Chocolate Cluster – An all-natural chocolate cluster made with whole grain flour & no preservatives or artificial anything.
Palo Bacon Cheddar Popcorn – Well this looks… interesting. Definitely passing this one along to my dad.
Ruffles Cheddar & Sour Cream Chips – Cheesey, sour cream-y potato chips.
Planters Salted Peanuts – Nuts!
Planters Salted Cashews – More nuts!
Kashi Chocolate Almond & Sea Salt Bar – My husband loves Kashi bars, so he’ll be happy to try this new-to-him flavor.
Kashi Blackberry Graham Baked Cereal Bar – Okay, this one is mine. It’s vegan and sounds fantastic.
Mediterra Yogurt & Oat Bar with Cherry & Pistachio – An all natural, Mediterranean-inspired fruit, oat, and yogurt bar.
Santa Barbara Cranberry White Chocolate Bar – Gluten-free, non-GMO protein bar made with superfoods including chia seeds and cranberries.
Tiger’s Milk Peanut Butter & Honey Bar – A trans fat free energy bar packed with vitamins & minerals.
Brookside Dark Chocolate Pomegranate – Fruit-filled morsels of dark chocolate.
Brookside Dark Chocolate Acai & Blueberry – More fruit-filled morsels of dark chocolate. 😉
Back to Nature Crispy Cheddar Crackers – I love the Back to Nature brand and my kiddos love these cheese crackers.
Back to Nature Mini Chocolate Chunk Cookies – These are some of the best vegan-friendly cookies I’ve ever had. Crunchy, chocolatey, and delicious. Non-vegans would never even know.
Pirate’s Booty Aged White Cheddar – Booty! Another great snack for my toddlers.
David Original Sunflower Seeds – How long has “Eat. Spit. Be Happy?” been their slogan? That’s kinda… ew.
Western’s Bar-Be-Cue Flavor Snack Stick – Meat. In stick form.
Fiber One Lemon Bar – A low-cal breakfast bar. This’ll be another nice mid-day snack for my kiddos.
SO many snacks! Take a Break Box definitely delivers on their promise to include a wide variety of different snacks. There really is something for everyone in the box… Even picky vegans like me. 😉
