Let’s see what’s in the August 2016 Tea Box Express box!
The box!
A peek inside.
Tea Box Express typically doesn’t include an info card, but this month they did include a card with a url you can visit to learn more about the products inside. (Not quite as convenient as a printed info card, but better than nothing. 🙂 )
Chai Diaries Lychee Blooming Tea ($14) – I’ve never really felt the need to buy a glass tea pot, but now I really wish we had one! These hand sewn blooming tea balls blossom and unfurl into beautiful flowers when placed in hot water. The tin contains seven balls and each one can make two pots of tea.
Misty Peak Teas Rolled Pu’er ($9) – More tea balls! These ones don’t do the cool “flowering” thing, but they do transform into a nice pot of single-origin whole leaf tea. This pu’er has a 20+ year shelf life and actually gets better over time. Plus, each ball can be rebrewed up to 20 times!
WOW Baking Company Gluten-Free Snickerdoodle Cookie ($2) – A wheat & gluten-free snickerdoodle cookie made with all natural, non-GMO ingredients. This looks delicious and my fingers are crossed (tightly!) that they’ll start including vegan-friendly baked goods on occasion as well. 😉
Sencha Sugar-Free Green Tea Mints (~$6) – These cute little leaf-shaped mints are made with whole leaf organic matcha and sencha green tea. Other ingredients include dragonfruit extract, ginger extract, and peppermint oil. They’re both gluten-free and vegan-friendly (yay!).
Sencha Green Tea Mints with Coconut Sugar (~$4) – More mints! These ones are sweetened with coconut sugar and flavored with cardamom & cinnamon.
Yet another nice assortment of unique teas and treats from Tea Box Express! I’m looking forward to watching the blooming tea bloom and the pu’er balls sound like a neat experience too. My kids will enjoy the cookie and I’m happy to have a little stockpile of vegan-friendly mints. 🙂 Remember — for a limited time you can save 20% on your first month with coupon code “ROSEBUDS20“!
