Let’s see what’s in the October 2017 Tea Box Express box!
Everything was shipped in a plain brown box with a Tea Box Express sticker on top.
A peek inside!
Tea Box Express doesn’t include a detailed info card, but they do hope you enjoy their teas and treats nonetheless. 😉 According to their Facebook page, this month’s box features all Texas vendors and proceeds will go to the Rebuild Texas Fund to aid in Hurricane Harvey recovery efforts.
White Cloud World Teas Toothless Tiger Chai
October’s featured tea was an organic rooibos blend flavored with cinnamon, ginger, cardamom, star anise, fennel, and cloves. It’s naturally caffeine-free and is best enjoyed when prepared with steamed milk. This is a great selection for autumn and I can’t wait to give it a try (with soy milk, of course. 😉 ).
Kellie’s Baking Co. Cookies
Okay, so after checking out the Tea Box Express Facebook page, I’m now realizing that what I thought was a piece of fruit “painted” on the top cookie is actually a flower. Oops! I’m sure I would have caught on quicker if I had actually opened the package, but I’m saving these pretty cookies for a special occasion. (This company also makes “selfie photo cookies” — custom cookies created from your own photos. So cool!)
Spaulding’s Specialty Spices
Two flavored sugars from Spaulding’s Specialty Spices were featured in this month’s box. Pumpkin Spice Sugar consists of organic evaporated cane juice sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger, and cloves. It’s ideal for giving a fall-inspired flavor to coffee, tea, caked goods, cookies, cakes, and more. Cinnamon Sugar is a simple blend of organic evaporated cane juice sugar & cinnamon. It’s great for tea, baked goods, cakes, and even sprinkled on toast with butter.
Dallas Caramel Company “Fall” Caramels
These handcrafted caramels are made using fresh cream, real butter and all natural ingredients. Flavors in this “fall” themed bag include pumpkin, apple pie, cinnamon, and ginger. Mmm!
Benjamin Soap Co. Bath Salts
Hopefully subscribers won’t mistake these bath salts for one of the flavored sugars… 😉 Made with all natural ingredients including sea, epsom, and pink Himalayan salts, this is sure to help you unwind after a long day.
Tea Box Express is always a fun subscription to unbox. I’m never quite sure what I’ll find inside, but I’m always happy with its contents. I loved that they included a chai blend for autumn and pumpkin spice sugar. Yum! 🙂 Remember — for a limited time you can save 20% on your first month with coupon code “ROSEBUDS20“!
