The Teal Prep Box is a monthly subscription box that sends you a selection of personalized items featuring the monogram of your choice.
Each box will contain 3 items with at least one of them being monogrammed (but usually 2 or 3). Items can include clothing, jewelry, drinkware, and other “preppy” items. When you sign up, you’ll be given options to choose your favorite jewelry metal, specify if you have pierced ears, indicate a sorority, and more.
Subscriptions are $25/month, or less with multi-month commitments.

The Teal Prep Box actually shipped in a while polymailer BAG.
All of the items were wrapped together in teal tissue paper.
Baseball Cap – The first item was a solid black baseball cap with white monogram stitching. The only problem (well, besides the fact that I don’t wear caps)? My initials are NOT “WRM”. Ha! After receiving the package I went back to check the info that I sent along with my address and verified that I did indicate the correct initials. — “WMR, silver jewelry (prefer necklaces), no sorority, no pierced ears.” Eh, I guess mistakes happen, but monograms kinda leave no room for error. Though I did kind of laugh at the closeness to the word “WoRM”. 😉 Okay, I’m a total moron and had no idea that monograms are designed as first name initial, last name, middle. (Thanks Catherine!)
Can Koozie – A cute black can koozie featuring a glittery gold pineapple with hot pink leaves. It also includes my monogram in the center of the fruit.
Sticker – A small sticker/decal with a hot pink monogram on a white background.
Okay, while I wasn’t too stoked to see that The Teal Prep Box totally got my monogram wrong (UPDATE: They didn’t!), I’m sure they would have corrected the mistake if I were an actual subscriber (I would hope anyway). The items themselves seemed to be of good quality and since personalized things can be pricey, I still think it’s a decent subscription. 🙂

It actually isn’t a mix up! Until recently I thought people were stupid but the monogram trend puts your LAST initial in middle!! Look it up!!! All my friends who do vinyl work do it that way!!!

I know, right?! I had no idea either. Especially since most don’t differentiate size of the letters (which would make more since,ya think??) Neat sub though!
