The Fantasy Box is an adult-themed subscription service that helps couples keep things exciting in the bedroom (or kitchen, office, etc.) by offering a new “fantasy in a box” every month. They make it easy (aka less awkward) by including fun instruction cards as guides for each participant to use in fulfilling the fantasy. The boxes are pretty tasteful too, considering the subject matter. They’re sexy, not sleazy.
Along with the monthly subscription, The Fantasy Box also offers a wide range of “a la carte” single boxes in a variety of themes. These can be purchased separately and include themes such as “Naughty Wine Tasting”, “The Anniversary Box”, “Schoolgirl”, “Master & Slave”, “The Honeymoon Box”, and lots more.
Disclosure: I received this box for review. Post may contain affiliate links.
Subscriptions start at $39/month, while one-time boxes start at $45.
I chose to review the “Bubble Bath for Two” one-time purchase box, so let’s see what’s inside!
Everything was packed into a black & pink box with a magnetic closure in the front.
A peek inside!
Two “role cards” gave details on what each partner’s roles would be in this particular fantasy. One of you will be the bath maker, while the other is the lucky bath taker. There are no bad roles here though — the fantasy ends with both partners in the tub, so everyone’s a winner. 😉
Shunga Sparkling Strawberry Wine Romance Massage Candle
The first step in this “Bubble Bath for Two” fantasy was setting the mood. What better way than with an incredibly fragrant strawberry wine soy wax candle? I received a similarly scented tin from this brand a while ago and it was honestly one of the best-smelling candles I’ve ever, well, smelled. — Not only does it fill the air with a sweet strawberry scent, but it also doubles as a Vitamin E-infused massage oil!
Olivia’s Boudoir Rose Petals Bubble Bath
To make an inviting bath for the taker, the “Bath Maker” was to fill the tub with bubbles with the help of this rose-scented bubble bath from Olivia’s Boudoir. Skin-nourishing ingredients include purifying milk and aloe vera, coupled with the romantic fragrance of roses. The curvy glass bottle & stopper makes it feel all the more special.
Olivia’s Boudoir French Vanilla Bath Salts
If you’d prefer a bubble-less bath, these French Vanilla scented bath salts are an excellent option. Also housed in a pretty glass jar, the salts are a blend of Sherpa Pink Himalayan salt, pure Dead Sea salt, and French vanilla fragrance.
Fragrant Bar Soap
Both partners can take turns sudsing one another up using this multi-layered bar soap. There wasn’t any printed packaging included, so I’m not quite sure what the ingredients are or what the actual fragrance is supposed to be. I can say that it smells quite sweet and reminds me of these rainbow lollipops that I ate as a kid. 😉
Mini Heart Soaps
Again, these soaps didn’t come with any printed packaging so I’m unsure of their origin. They look to be glycerin-based and have a nice fruity scent.
Feel Sexy by Jimmy Jane Personal Lubricant
Once things start heating up, the role cards suggest bringing some toys into the action. This silicone-based personal lubricant features a water-resistant formula that makes it ideal for water play. The ingredients are both body-safe and preservative-free.
Earthly Body Isle of You Hemp Seed Hand & Body Lotion
Once bath time is over, you can keep your skin feeling soft and silky with this 100% vegan hand & body lotion. It’s enriched with super hydrating oils including hemp seed and argan to leave you with smooth & moisturized skin. It has a sweet, tropical-inspired scent and is both gluten and paraben-free.
Fantasy Lingerie Baby it’s Cold Outside Robe & G-String
You can keep the romance going after your bath by slipping into this emerald green satin robe with matching g-string. It features pretty black lace along the bottom hem and a satin tie that rests softly at the waist, allowing the garment to be worn comfortably untied or tied for a cozy feel. I forgot to take a photo of the g-string, but according to my 5-year-olds, it looked like “an eyepatch”. That should give you an idea of how tiny it is. 😉
As always, The Fantasy Box proves to be a great subscription for couples looking to add a little more excitement to their love life. The inclusion of “role cards” makes the experience a lot less awkward and helps you easily bring the fantasy to life. I do wish there was additional info provided on the unlabeled products, but those that were branded were certainly of high quality, so it’s not a dealbreaker by any means. Overall, a fun box to enjoy with your partner. 🙂
