Third & Main is a new subscription box that sends a monthly collection of items for you and your home.
Each box will feature 4-6 items that you’d be likely to find in small boutiques and specialty shops — with an emphasis on local and artisan goods. You can expect to receive items such as kitchen tools, candles, home decor, serveware, ceramics, luxurious textiles, stationery products, soaps, lotions, bath products, and more. Boxes will have an average total retail value of $85-$110.
Disclosure: I received this box for review purposes. I was not compensated in any way. All opinions are my own. Post may contain affiliate and/or referral links.
Subscriptions are $54.95 plus $10 shipping.
Let’s see what’s in the May 2017 Third & Main box!
Everything was shipped in a large white box with the Third & Main logo on top.
A peek inside!
A pretty note from the founders.
Individual info cards for every item were tied together with a velvet ribbon. The cards included full color photos, descriptions, and retail values for each item.
Bloomingville Large Alberte Bowl ($42)
I was excited when I saw this bowl released as the first spoiler for May’s box. — It’s so pretty! Large too, as it measures 9.5 inches in diameter and 4.25 inches high. The textured pattern and pale pink color give it an almost vintage feel, though I believe it was inspired by Nordic style. Either way, I love it and am happy to add it to my kitchen. 🙂
Bloomingville Acacia Wood Utensils ($12.99)
The perfect accessory to use with your new Bloomingville serving bowl, this pair of acacia wood utensils would be great for serving salad or similar fare. Each one measures 11.5 inches long by 2.75 wide and is hand wash only.
Gingiber Llama Tea Towel ($18)
How sweet is this llama?! He looks so happy. 🙂 This 26 inch by 27 inch tea towel is made of 100% cotton and professionally screen printed with water-based, eco-friendly black ink. The adorable illustration was drawn by Stacie Bloomfield, the owner of Gingiber. According to the info card, she tries to find the perfect balance of artfulness and playfulness in each illustration. — Mission accomplished!
Baitx Made Green Tea Lemongrass Candle ($16)
Yesss!! If you’re a regular reader, you know that I love lemongrass and I have a bit of a candle obsession. Needless to say, I’m a major fan of this item. 😉 While I think the green tea (or something else?) kind of overpowers the lemongrass, it’s still a great scent. Baitx Made Candles are all hand poured and made with natural soy wax, essential oils, and cotton wicks. They’re also dye-free.
August & Oak Greeting Card ($4.50)
Is it weird that this card immediately made me think of a line from the movie “Elf”? Ha. That aside, I do think this is a beautiful design with a great sentiment that would be perfect for Mother’s Day or just about any day. The card was handmade in Charlotte, NC and they have a whole collection of pretty paper goods available in their Etsy shop.
SPOILER ALERT! — June’s box will include a 12″ x 12″ LovingLeighYours pillow ($32 value) and a 80″ x 40″ lightweight cotton throw ($29 value), plus 2 additional items valued at $31.25!
I am beyond impressed with the debut box from Third & Main! I always enjoy getting home items in subscription boxes, so I had high hopes for this box and they totally delivered. I’ll absolutely use every single one of the items included, which doesn’t happen too often. Oh — and the retail value of everything was just under $94! Not bad! 😀
