Toothbrush Subscriptions delivers fresh toothbrushes right to your door, whenever you need them. You can choose to get ’em monthly, or every 2 or 3 months — totally up to you. Best of all, the prices are the same as you’d expect to pay at the store and shipping is always free!
The American Dental Association recommends replacing your toothbrush every 3 months. Most dentists would agree. Seems simple enough, right? Sure… Except that sometimes you’re too focused on little things like kids and bills and Amazon orders that something as seemingly simple as switching out your toothbrush gets kinda… overlooked.
The lovely folks at Toothbrush Subscriptions want to make replacing your toothbrushes something you’ll never have to think about again. They have a 100% satisfaction guarantee — if you’re not satisfied with their service, they’ll even buy you a new one of your choice. Oh, and they even offer brushes for as low as $1.00 each. A dollar. (Edit: The prices have gone up since my initial review. Brushes now start at $4.00) Shipped free. Seriously, how can you NOT sign up?
I was recently sent a few of their toothbrushes for review purposes. I chose 3 for my girls and one for me. Let’s see what they sent!
Need some toothbrushes? There’s a subscription box for that!
The goods came packed in a padded envelope via Canada Post. Oh, I should mention that they offer free shipping for the US and Canada! (I should also mention that packaged toothbrushes are NOT easy to photograph. Please forgive the less than stellar photo quality. 😉 )
The Baby Toothbrush ($4) – I chose to receive 2 of the “baby” toothbrushes for the girls. These are recommended for children 2 to 5. They have extra soft bristles with a soft rubber fingertip grip, perfect for little hands. You can choose from 5 different colors (so of course I had to pick this obnoxious pink one).
The Advantage Toothbrush ($5) – Apparently only 30 toothbrushes sold worldwide are actually approved by the American Dental Association. This lil’ guy (gal?) here just happens to be one of them. It’s got a compact brush head with a combination of soft and extra soft bristles, along with a clear handle and comfort grip. As with the baby brushes, you have 5 fun colors to choose from.
The Newborn Toothbrush ($4) – I thought this looked cool when I ordered it, but now I’m thinking I probably should have gotten a brush for my husband instead. Oops. My girls are 19 months old now and I’m thinking this is probably better suited for younger babies who haven’t used a “real” toothbrush yet. It’s actually a brush and teething ring all in one, which is pretty neato. It’s for ages 0-2 and comes in not five, but six different colors. Oooh! 😉
I’m definitely guilty of not replacing my toothbrush as often as I should, so I think this is a totally useful service. I love the fact that they ship for free — no matter how many brushes you sign up for.
