Let’s see what’s in the June 2016 Vegan Cuts Snack Box!
The box!
A peek inside.
An info card listed all the items inside the June snack box, along with brief descriptions and social media handles for each one.
Tasty Brand Vanilla Cupcake Sandwich Cookies – Awww yeeeeah! These cookies were the spoiler item for June’s box and I’m super stoked to try ’em. They’re made with organic ingredients and are non-GMO verified, Kosher certified, and of course vegan-friendly. They also contain no trans-fat, high fructose corn syrup, or anything artificial.
Fruigees 24 Carrot Orange Organic Fruit Snack – I’m usually not too keen on food pouches designed for adults, but this one was actually really good. It had a sweet citrus flavor and I wouldn’t be made if these popped up in future boxes. 😉
Next Organics Dried Coconut – I’ve tried many different brands of coconut chips, but never any like this. Each “chip” has a little bit of brown coconut skin attached to the coconut flesh to retain the maximum number of nutrients. I had no idea the skin was edible, so I’m curious how easily these can be chewed. We’ll see!
Guru Organic Energy Drink – I’m not too crazy about energy drinks (I always give them to my husband), but at least this one’s made with organic ingredients. It also contains no preservatives, taurine, artificial caffeine or flavors.
Pacific Foods Italian Herb Seitan – Sometimes I think about cutting gluten out of my diet, but then I’m like “Eff that! I need my seitan!”. I usually don’t buy flavored seitan, so I’m looking forward to trying this Italian herb seasoned variety. I’m thinking either grilled on a sandwich or formed into meatballs. Mmm!
Spiced & Infused Bombay Seasoning Popcorn – A unique popcorn flavor featuring a blend of “savory, spicy & tangy spices”. It’s made with non-gmo corn and is both vegan & gluten-free.
Laiki Black Rice Crackers – These rice crackers have just 3 ingredients — wholegrain black rice, sustainably farmed palm oil, and sea salt. I used to think they were too bland, but they’ve kinda grown on me.
Love Grown Foods Chocolate Power O’s – A unique cereal that’s made with lentils, navy beans, and chick peas. I’ve gotten this in other subscription boxes, but have yet to try it myself. (I’m a little nervous!)
Kunachia Chia Shot – A great addition to smoothies, this “chia shot” is packed with plant-based omega-3, antioxidants, protein, and fiber.
Simply 7 Sea Salt Kale Chips – These healthy chips are made with kale (listed as the first ingredient) for a smart, yet tasty snackin’ choice.
Coupons – Also included were coupons for a few of the brands in this month’s box.
It’s been quite a while since I last reviewed a Vegan Cuts Snack Box, so I was happy to see that it’s still just as good as I remembered. It was packed full of great snacks, sweets, and even a beverage. Oh, and seitan too! Works for me. 🙂
