With Love From Angela is a new subscription box that features an assortment of natural skincare and bath products. I’m all about indulging in some much needed bath time (aka alone time for moms), so boxes like this are always fun to receive.
With Love From Angela includes only the highest quality, most natural bath and skincare items in their boxes. This consists of both trusted brands, as well as their own line of products. Contents can include bath bombs, lotions, body scrubs, bar soaps, bath truffles, and more.
Subscriptions are $24.99/month or less with longer commitments.
I was recently sent January’s box for review and couldn’t wait to see what was inside.
Let’s check it out!
First look. Everything was packed inside of a plain brown box and wrapped in tissue paper. The paper scroll on top was the information sheet.
All of the products were listed, along with photos and a short description of each one.
Herbaria French Lavender Bar Soap – Mmmm… This smells SO nice! It contains both lavender and sweet almond essential oils, as well as saponified olive and/or rice bran oil. It’s also naturally colored with wild harvested alkanet root. No artificial colors here!
Herbaria Caracalla Bath Bomb in “Bath Balm” – Yep, a “bath balm” bath bomb. This little fizzie is scented with menthol, eucalyptus, and pine to help clear both your head and your sinuses. It contains all natural moisturizers, colorings, and scents. I’ll definitely be using this as soon as my next cold creeps up (which will probably be sooner than later).
With Love From Angela Lotion Bar – An all natural lotion tart/bar made with just 3 ingredients: pure beeswax, coconut oil, and cocoa butter. I like that they included a little tin for storage. Smart!
Natural Exfoliating Sponge – This comes from the luffa plant, a vegetable related to the cucumber. It produces large gourds whose insides look like this once they’ve been dried. The stiff fibers provide the perfect surface for exfoliating.
Mungo Murphy’s Sea Bag – The description from their site sounds like it would be a narrated line from a Wes Anderson movie: “Mungo Murphy’s Single Sea-Bag contains approximately 60g of dried and ground Laminaria Digitata from the wild Atlantic waters of Connemara”. You basically boil the bag of seaweed in water (don’t remove it from the bag)… Once boiled, pour the entire contents of the pot (water & bag) into the tub and bathe in the goodness. The seaweed releases oils that are said to detoxify the body, reduce skin irritation, stimulate blood circulation, and more.
I think With Love From Angela did a great job of curating a box of good quality, all natural bath products. I didn’t do a cost breakdown, but if you divide the cost of the box over the 5 items it comes to $5 per item, which seems fair — especially for all natural products.

BEWARE. I purchased a six month subscription to this box at the end of February based on good reviews on multiple websites. I have yet to receive a box and have received no response to multiple emails regarding shipping status. Now, in hindsight, it looks very likely that this is a scam. The website is actually pretty bare bones, just enough to look real and their social media sites are not functional. It looks like they just sent out some really nice boxes to bloggers to get exposure, collect some cash on fake subscriptions and from what I can tell from comments on various sites, no actual customer has received anything. There was just the one set of boxes that went out to bloggers around the end of January/beginning of February. Bugger – I hate getting duped but am hoping this will prevent anyone else from having the same happen to them. I am going to post this same comment on the various websites where reviews were done that I am aware of to try and help spread awareness.

I just checked their Facebook page and this was their last update on March 20th:
“We are working to get your boxes out asap. We are having major growing pains as well as a major loss in our family we are trying to deal with. Hang in there please you will be emailed when your box is shipping. We will contact you on an individual basis.”
I say give them some more time to sort through things. Sounds like a pretty sad situation.
