WODBOM is a new subscription box that sends a selection of Crossfit gear, apparel, and healthy snacks to your door every month.
Each box will contain 5 to 6 premium sized products (mostly full size) to help you power through your next WOD (Workout of the Day). Items can include workout gear, supplements, gym accessories, snacks, and more. Boxes will generally consist of 3-4 nutritional items & snacks and 2-3 apparel and/or accessory items.
Subscriptions are $35/month plus shipping, or less with multi-month commitments. (Save 5% on your first month with coupon code “OCT5“. Good through October 5th.)
Let’s see what’s in the September 2015 WODBOM box!
A peek inside the box. The first thing I noticed peeking out from the squiggles was a Hail Merry logo. Yesss!
The info card included a list of all the items along with descriptions and retail values for each one.
Caffeine and Kilos PR Blend Coffee ($17.50) – This ground coffee blend features an extra boost of caffeine to help power you through your toughest workouts. It’s also 100% organic and packed with antioxidants. I don’t know about workouts, but if it’s strong enough to power me through a day of dealing with twin toddlers, I’m all for it!
Hail Merry Chocolate Macaroons ($5) – I LOOOVE these macaroons! They’re made with raw ingredients including organic shredded coconut, fair trade cocoa, and organic maple syrup. They practically melt in your mouth and taste amazing.
Cross Fixe Hands Tube & Bar ($7.95) – This super intensive balm moisturizes, protects, and heals your skin using 100% pure, food-grade ingredients. It effectively nourishes skin and stimulates rapid recovery due to activities like power lifting, gymnastics, rock climbing, or just normal everyday “wear”. Both a tube and small “bar” were included.
Wod Welder Coffee Soap ($6.95) – Oooh! I love natural bar soaps and this one smells incredible. It’s made with not only real ground coffee, but also coffee essential oil (which I didn’t even know was a thing). It also consists of saponified olive & coconut oils, shea butter, and natural fragrance oils.
Fuel for Fire Fruit & Protein Fuel Pack ($3) – A simple way to get a protein fix on the go, this pouch features simple ingredients including apples, pears, sweet potatoes, and whey protein isolate. One serving includes an impressive 10 grams of protein.
Jerkfit Nubs ($9.95) – These little sleeves slide over your thumbs to protect them from blisters and other skin irritations while working out. Use in place of tape for an easier, less sticky experience.
Wow! I had no idea what to expect from WODBOM, but I was totally impressed. The items were all practical and useful even for a non-fit person like myself (well, except the nubs, unless I decide to use ’em as thumb warmers). Can’t go wrong with coffee, soap, and vegan treats! The value was great too — over $50 in products total. Not bad at all!
