Sadly, the popular lifestyle subscription box Alltrue (formerly Causebox) appears to have gone out of business.
It has been discussed heavily in Reddit forums, where it was stated by a (now former) Alltrue employee that “Every employee was terminated with less than 24 hours notice last Tuesday April 12th.”
Not exactly the best news for subscribers. — Needless to say, you probably want to contact your credit card company ASAP to try and reverse any unfulfilled orders/charges.
I personally signed up for another year in advance when they offered it at a lower rate before increasing prices. I used PayPal and am unsure how they’re going to handle it. Fingers crossed!
I’ve been trying to get my money back now for a couple months because they sent me a box of garbage that was worthless. They don’t even have a phone number to reach them for heck sake, They’ve ripped me off and going out of business now? Taking the money and running with their tail between their legs because they couldn’t make it but how many millions of dollars have they gotten away with out of those of us who ordered and out of the vendors who trusted them? These 2 guys are horrible people in my opinion and should never be allowed to have another business license again in their lifetime because of how dishonest they have been period, but I’m sure they’ll just move on to another place and do it all over again and get away with it again! It makes me sick to know that we get screwed over and they’ll get away with it and end up doing it all over again and they’ll just move on again over and over. You two are horrible human beings and I hope you have to pay for what you’ve done to so many people, you will pay eventually, karma will catch up with you and you will pay dearly. You should be ashamed of yourselves, I bet your mom’s are really proud of you…NOT EVEN!!!
