Let’s see what’s in the April 2022 Amoda Tea box!
Everything was shipped in a small brown box with a white Amoda Tea logo in the top left corner.
A peek inside!
An info card listed all of the teas included in April’s box, as well as tasting notes for each one.
All of the teas were individually packaged in resealable pouches with labels noting their tasting notes, caffeine content, brewing instructions, and full ingredient list.
Dessert by Deb “Cereal Milk”
The colorful, dessert-y tea above was inspired by “cereal milk” — aka the sweetened milk left over after you’ve eaten your bowl of sugary cereal. It features an organic blend of black tea, natural cream flavor, coconut, calendula petals, and pink cornflower petals. Its high caffeine content makes it idea for enjoying in the morning — with or without a big ol’ bowl of Fruit Loops. 😉
Lamie Wellness Tea Company “West Bay Breakfast”
“West Bay Breakfast” was inspired by the cherry capital of the world (and home of Lamie Wellness) — Traverse City, Michigan. It consists of just two simple ingredients: Black tea sourced from China & India and dried cherry pieces. While I’m not much of a black tea fan, I do make an exception if it’s flavored with something sweet/fruity. I’ll definitely be giving this one a try!
Lamie Wellness Tea Company “Grand Teaton”
The pretty tea blend above was inspired by the wild berries that grow within Grand Teton National Park in Wyoming. It features a Sencha green tea base with a 100% organic mix of hibiscus, sage, lemongrass, huckleberries, wild blueberries, raspberry bits, and natural berry flavor. I love fruity teas, so I have a feeling this one might be my favorite of the bunch.
Beach House Teas “Coastal Bouquet”
This fragrant blend is caffeine-free, making it an ideal late-day/evening tea. It features an herbal bouquet of organic ingredients including orange peel, rose hips, chamomile, lemongrass, Pacific Northwest peppermint, jasmine, Pacific Northwest lavender, and more. It’s the perfect mix of both floral and fruity!
Biodegradable Tea Filters
A roll of disposable/100% biodegradable tea filters are also included in every box. I didn’t count them, but it looks to be plenty to use with the included teas. Additional filters can also be purchased as an “add-on”.
Postcard
April’s “postcard” featured a classic teatime photograph on one side, with a handy tea steeping guide on the other. So technically not a true postcard, but quite handy to hold onto for future reference.
April’s Amoda Tea shipment included a nice assortment of black, green, and herbal blends. I’m most looking forward to sampling Lamie Wellness Tea Company’s “Grand Teaton” and Beach House Teas’ “Coastal Bouquet”. 🙂
