GlobeIn is a monthly subscription box that features handcrafted goods by artisans around the world.
Each box features a themed collection of 4-5 hand-crafted items, produced by artisans from all around the world. There are more than 5 box themes available each month, and you have the opportunity to choose which one you’d like to receive. Small Oval Picnic Basket, Vietnam ($56 value)
What an adorable little picnic basket! This handcrafted piece was made in a Vietnamese village whose artisans specialize in creating sturdy home goods out of rattan. The basket is perfect for taking along to the farmer’s market or filling up for a picnic on the beach. It measures approximately 14 inches long by 9.5 inches wide by 12 inches high (with handle). Two built-in “flaps” on either side of the basket help to keep your food safe and secure.
Handpainted Round Metal Tray, India ($22 value)
I don’t know what it is about little trays like this, but I can never have enough of them! They’re perfect for serving light snacks and somehow feel so much fancier than a regular ol’ lunch/dinner plate. 😉 Not only is it useful — but also one of a kind, as each plate is carefully handpainted with a beautiful mandala design. It measures about 7 inches in diameter and .75 inches high.
Stainless Steel Spreader, India ($11 value)
Ideal for soft foods like cheese and hummus, this 8″ spreader is a nice addition to your summer appetizer spreads. It’s made of stainless steel with a sleek white handle to easily coordinate with any color scheme. It’s also the perfect addition to any charcuterie board, which seem to be having a moment as of late. 😉
The April 2022 GlobeIn “Outing Box” included a useful collection of beautifully crafted picnic-themed products. My personal favorites were the Small Oval Picnic Basket and Handpainted Round Metal Tray. 🙂 — Remember, for a limited time you can save 50% on your first box with coupon code ARTISAN50!
