Disclosure: I received this box for review purposes. Post may contain affiliate and/or referral links.
Subscriptions are $20/month and shipping is free.
Let’s see what’s in the July 2022 Amoda Tea box!
Everything was shipped in a small brown box with a white Amoda Tea logo in the center.
A peek inside!
An info card listed all of the teas included in July’s box, as well as tasting notes for each one.
All of the teas were individually packaged in resealable pouches with labels noting their tasting notes, caffeine content, brewing instructions, and full ingredient list.
Beach House Teas “Farmer’s Market”
Farmer’s Market is an ideal tea to enjoy over ice during these sweltering summer months. It features a bold blend of 100% organic black tea, Washington peaches, and a rather unexpected ingredient — basil. Not surprisingly (as if the name itself hadn’t already given it away), this fragrant tea was inspired by a summer’s afternoon at the farmer’s market.
Amoda Tea “Sencha”
Amoda Tea’s Sencha — one of Japan’s most popular and most loved teas — consists of 100% organic Japanese green tea leaves. It’s low in caffeine and has a fresh herbal/grassy flavor, which may be slightly bitter. Thanks to its high levels of vitamin C and other antioxidants, sencha is a great tea to help boost your immune system.
BrutaliTeas “Cantadope”
Welp, I think I’ve found my new favorite tea brand based solely on their name alone. 😉 “BrutaliTeas was created to bring you unique and quality hand-crafted loose leaf tea blends inspired by metal/rock/alternative bands & horror/thriller movies!”. “Cantadope” is a fruity blend featuring golden flower oolong, freeze dried cantaloupe, jasmine petals, marigold flowers, and natural cantaloupe flavor. After checking out their site, some of the teas that caught my eye/made me chuckle were: “And Justice Floral”, “Cranapple Corpse”, “Faith No S’mores”, and “Vanilla Biscuits”.
Beach House Teas “Surf Break”
The only caffeine-free herbal tea of the bunch, “Surf Break” is both soothing and a little bit spicy. It contains a 100% organic blend of hibiscus, chamomile, rose hips, and cinnamon chips — the source of the “spice”! It’s great enjoyed both hot or over ice.
Biodegradable Tea Filters
A roll of disposable/100% biodegradable tea filters are also included in every box. I didn’t count them, but it looks to be plenty to use with the included teas. Additional filters can also be purchased as an “add-on”.
Postcard
This month’s postcard featured a refreshing glass of iced tea with pretty white flowers in the background.
July’s Amoda Tea shipment included a nice assortment of black, green and herbal blends. All of the teas sound great, but I’m most looking forward to sipping “Cantadope”, “Farmer’s Market”, and “Surf Break”. 😀
