BARK Food offers breed-focused meals, customized enrichment toys, effective dental care, individualized supplements, and premium home products to support all your pup’s unique needs.
Each breed has a unique profile of physical and behavioral characteristics that BARK Food takes into consideration when selecting the best food options for them. — For example, labrador retrievers tend to skip the chewing part of eating dinner, which is why they have a slow feeder bowl for them. Pitties tend to have sensitive skin, so they recommended a skin & coat supplement to help with that. For each breed, they offer recommendations for food, supplements, and accessories — all based on your dog’s specific needs according to their breed, age, and any allergies they may have. You then choose which of those products you’d like to purchase.

Let’s see what I received for review from BARK Food!
Everything was shipped in a brown box with the BARK logo on the side and white tape with fun graphics across the top.
A peek inside!
I was sent a box of “toppers” and treats — which my mother-in-law’s shitzu will be happy to enjoy.
Chicken Lickin’ Good Popcorn Dog Food Topper ($10.80 with subscription, $12 without)
First up were BARK’s Chicken Lickin’ Good Popcorn food toppers. These moist & chewy bite-sized nuggets are “baked to perfection” with wholesome ingredients including USA-sourced chicken (the first ingredient), oat groats, pearled barley, pork stock, chicken fat, and rosemary extract. You can top a few on your pup’s regular kibble for an added bonus at mealtime, or give occasionally as a special treat.
Cheesy Peasy Soft Bakes (3 bags for $10.80 with subscription, $12 without)
These vegetarian-friendly soft baked treats contain zero meat, soy, corn, or wheat — making them perfect for dogs with food allergies. The recipe was approved by a board certified nutritionist and their main ingredient is real cheese sourced from USA farms. The treats have a flat, wafer-like shape which allows them to be easily broken in half for sharing. 🙂
Clucky Soft Bakes (3 bags for $13.50 with subscription, $15 without)
Clucky Soft Bakes are another chewy treat — but as the name suggests, this non-vegetarian variety is made with chicken. In fact, it’s the main ingredient. The dumpling-inspired treats also contain nutritious “people” foods including pearled barley, potatoes, and ground flaxseed.
Hip, Hop, Hooray! Hip & Joint Soft Chews ($13.50 with subscription, $15 without)
Some dogs are prone to joint conditions that affect their hips, elbows, and knees. The bacon-flavored soft chews above were formulated by board-certified nutritionists to help support healthy joints & cartilage and keep your doggo moving. They’re made with beneficial joint & cartilage boosting nutrients including omega 3 fatty acids, collagen peptides, and natural sources of glucosamine & chondroitin sulfate. Dogs up to 10 pounds need just 1/2 chew per day.
Pumpkin Spice Up Your Life Meal Topper ($15)
The pumpkin spice obsession has crossed over into the canine world! This flavorful meal topper is made with an irresistible blend of real pumpkin, honey, cinnamon, coconut flakes, vanilla, and ginger. Sprinkle the powder right over your pup’s food, or mix with water to pour over it like gravy. It can also be used to make frozen treats!
BARK Home Sandbark Snuffle Mat
How cute is this felt snuffle mat?! The fun seaside-themed puzzle toy is designed to satisfy your dog’s foraging instincts. — Simply hide some kibble or a few of their favorite treats in this mat’s pockets and folds, and let them sniff them out. Too cute!!
BARK Sugrrr Treat Cone ($14)
Give your furry friend a tasty treat served up in this natural rubber ice cream cone. Just drop some treats or kibble into the hole at the top of the vanilla-scented toy and watch them gnaw away. Once the fun is over, simply pop it in the dishwasher (top rack) to get it squeaky clean.
If you have picky pups or they’re just getting bored of their same old kibble, BARK Food has a variety of products to get them racing back to their bowl. All of the products I received were made with high quality ingredients and designed especially for the unique needs of your pup(s). I appreciate that all of the items ship FREE and that you get to choose exactly which products you want to include in your shipment. Food, toys, meal toppers, treats — they have it all! 🙂 Oh, and don’t forget — for a limited time you can save 30% on your first order with coupon code “ROSEBUDS30“!
