November 2016 Beauty Box 5 unboxing time!
If you’re not aware, Beauty Box 5 is an affordable subscription box that delivers 5 deluxe samples and full-sized products right to your door every month. Each box will consist of a mix of both full and deluxe sample sized products — five in all. Items can include makeup, beauty accessories, hair, skincare, fragrance, body, nail products, and more. Featured brands will range from luxury, to drugstore, niche, eco-conscious, and even vegan-friendly. The total retail value will always be higher than the cost of the box.
Disclosure: I received this box for review purposes. I was not compensated in any way. All opinions are my own. Post may contain affiliate and/or referral links.
Subscriptions are $12/month, or less with multi-month commitments. Shipping to US is free (Canada, add $3).
Let’s see what’s in the November 2016 Beauty Box 5 box!
Everything was shipped in a small box with the Beauty Box 5 logo on the front.
A peek inside!
November’s theme was “Cozy” and the info card listed all of the items in the box, as well as photos, descriptions, and retail prices for each one.
Peony Shadow Trio in Gilded ($17.95) – A paraben-free, vegan-friendly eye shadow palette featuring three highly pigmented shades that promise to last up to 8 hours. The nourishing base is mineral oil free and contains pure kaolin clay to help absorb excess oil. Cute box and totally wearable shades!
BB5 Cut That Crease Angle Brush ($10) – An angled shadow brush that allows you to effortlessly apply both cream and powder shadows (like the ones above!). The design is perfect for detailing and blending.
Neutrogena Make-Up Remover Cleansing Towelettes ($1-2?) – These super soft pre-moistened cloths easily remove all traces of makeup in one quick wipe. It even works on waterproof mascara. 🙂
Manna Kadar Lip Locked Stain in “Shae” (~$5?) – A paraben free lip stain that’s actually a gloss, primer, and stain all in one. I usually don’t wear lip products, but this shade looks subtle enough for me to actually pull off. Hopefully.
Briogeo Don’t Despair, Repair! Deep Conditioning Mask (~$4?) – This sulfate-free deep conditioning mask claims to restore natural vibrancy on even the most overprocessed hair in a matter of minutes. I’ve recently started dyeing my hair again, so I suppose this couldn’t hurt.
Another nice mix of cosmetics and skin care items from Beauty Box 5. There were less full size items than in past months, but it was still a great value at roughly $35 (or more?) in products. My favorite item was definitely the pretty shadow trio! 🙂
