Let’s see what’s in the Spring 2017 Beautycon Box!
The box!
A peek inside.
The Spring 2017 Beautycon box was curated by… themselves! (All prior boxes have been curated by beauty influencers.) An info card listed all of the items I’d find inside, along with their social media handles.
Cargo Cosmetics Around the World Eye Shadow Palette with Brush ($34)
This palette was the first (only?) spoiler item released and alone covers the cost of the entire box! It features 12 travel-inspired shades — 6 matte and 6 shimmer — to create a variety of looks. It also comes with a dual-ended eye shadow brush for precise application.
Dirty Little Secret Velvet Matte Liquid Lipstick in Rust ($14)
This highly pigmented liquid lipstick — in “Rust” — has a pretty brick red shade with a matte finish. The polka dot design on the tube is too cute!
NUXE Shimmering Dry Oil (~$7.50)
This multi-purpose shimmering dry oil includes a unique concentration of 6 precious oils (borage, St. John’s wort, sweet almond, camellia, hazelnut and macadamia), plus Vitamin E to leave your skin soft and silky with a hint of shimmer. You can also use it on the rest of your body, as well as your hair to nourish, soften, and illuminate.
IBY Beauty Mineral Pressed Blush in Peach Sheen ($16)
A talc- and paraben-free pressed blush infused with ultra-fine natural minerals. As you can see, mine arrived in… less than ideal condition. 😉 Since I received this box for review, I’m not going to worry about it. However, I’m sure Beautycon would be happy to ship a replacement if I contacted them.
The BrowGal Convertible Brow: Powder to Pomade Duo Universal & Dual-Sided Brow Brush ($35)
The Convertible Brow is a powder/pomade duo that acts as a powder when used dry, and a pomade when used wet to fill in and apply color & definition to your brows. Once used wet, the pallet will revert back to powder consistency, ensuring the product doesn’t dry out. A handy brow brush with both a spoolie & an angled end was also included.
OGX Orchid Oil Color Protect Spray ($7.99)
A color protecting oil-based spray that helps to slow premature fading and lock in color. It’s infused with orchid extract and grape seed oil to moisturize & protect, as well as UVA/UVB sun-filters to protect it from the sun’s damaging rays.
Garnier SkinActive Micellar Makeup Removing Towelettes ($6)
These oil-free/fragrance-free wipes are designed to cleanse, remove makeup, and soothe the skin all in one swipe! They’re safe for all skin types, including sensitive. The micelle molecules cluster together to lift dirt, oil, makeup, and impurities on contact. — No rinsing or no harsh rubbing needed.
NYX Professional Makeup Bright Idea Illuminating Stick in Rose Petal Pop ($7.99)
This illuminating stick is creamy and soft, making it easy to apply and perfect for strobing. It has a quick setting time and can last throughout the entire day. “Rose Petal Pop” is a deep pink colored blush with hints of gold glitter.
Luxie Beauty Rose Gold Duo Fibre Powder Brush 516 ($22)
100% vegan & cruelty free, this duo fibre stippling powder brush is designed for applying and blending like a pro.
Another great collection of items from Beautycon Box! The highlight was definitely the Cargo palette, which alone covered the entire cost of the whole thing. All totaled, the Spring 2017 box was valued at just over $150! 😀 — Remember, for a limited time you can save $5 on your first box with coupon code “ROSEBUDSPRING“!
