Let’s see what’s in my December 2017 BookCase.Club box!
Everything was shipped in a white and blue box with the BookCase.Club logo on top.
A peek inside! — As always, I chose the “Read to Me” Case which includes 4 children’s books.
Before We Met by Laura Krauss Melmed & Jing Jing Tsong ($14.43 Amazon, $17.99 Retail)
This beautiful book is written from a mother to her child, describing the love she felt for him/her before they were even born. The gorgeous illustrations paint a dreamy setting where the expecting mother holds her belly and blissfully awaits her baby’s arrival.
Billy and Goat at the State Fair by Dan Yaccarino ($11.51 Amazon, $16.99 Retail)
A cute tale about Billy and his best friend, Goat. Billy is a lot less adventurous than Goat, so when they decide to go to the fair to enter Goat in a “Best Goat Contest”, it’s Goat who initiates all of the fun. The pair enjoy all of the wonders of the fair and although they end up missing the contest, Billy is certain that he has the best goat of all.
The Nuts: Bedtime at the Nut House by Eric Litwin ($11.61 Amazon, $18 Retail)
This silly bedtime story is about a family of nuts and two nut children that do NOT want to go to sleep. Mama Nut tells them over and over, but they’re too busy playing and singing to notice. Finally, she gives them “the look” and they grudgingly climb into bed to sleep. — But not before singing one last nutty song with Mama Nut.
Tulip Loves Rex by Alyssa Satin Capucilli ($9.98 Amazon, $17.99 Retail)
Tulip was a little girl who loved to dance more than anything else. Nothing made her happier than leaping and twirling — until she meets Rex. A large, friendly dog, Rex wasn’t like most other dogs. As Tulip would soon learn, he didn’t like to fetch or do many “normal” dog things. Nope, just like Tulip, Rex loved to dance! Needless to say, the two became fast friends and lived happily ever after. 😉
December’s BookCase.Club box was one of my favorites to date. All of the selections were perfect for my girls’ age group (kindergarten) and there wasn’t a dud in the bunch. 🙂 Using Amazon prices, the total value this month was just over $47! 🙂 — Remember, if you’d like to sign up you can save 15% on your first month with coupon code “Rosebuds15“!
