BREO Box is a new quarterly lifestyle subscription box service curated for both women and men.
Each quarter, you’ll receive a handcrafted wooden box containing 6 to 9 items consisting of seasonal essentials that revolve around health, fitness, and other everyday lifestyle needs. Boxes are carefully curated to provide products that are fitting to the season from well-known brands around the world. Each quarterly box will have a total retail value of $300-400.
Disclosure: I received this box for review purposes. I was not compensated in any way. All opinions are my own. Post may contain affiliate and/or referral links.
Subscriptions are $139/quarter, or less with a prepaid annual plan. Shipping within the US is free.
Let’s see what’s in the Winter 2016 Breo Box!
As promised, everything came tucked inside of a handcrafted wooden Breo Box box.
A peek inside!
An info card was tucked into a sleek black envelope and listed all of the items inside, along with the retail values of each one.
Misfit Ray Fitness Tracker ($120 Retail, $99 Amazon)
This chic little fitness tracker automatically tracks steps taken, distance traveled, calories burned, and sleep duration & quality. It comes with 3 replaceable button cell batteries so it never needs charging and is water-resistant to 50 meters, so it doesn’t need to be removed even while swimming. You can also use it to set movement reminders, get vibration alerts for calls/text/alarms, take a selfie, control your music, and more.
Brouk & Co Moscow Mule Mugs ($72)
These artisan crafted mugs are designed of a pure copper body and comfortable brass handle that will last you a lifetime. While perfect for serving up a Moscow Mule, they’re also great for beer, eggnog and other cold beverages. Each mug holds a generous 16 ounces.
Mill City Fineries Plaid Scarf ($64)
This scarf is SO soft! It was handcrafted in Minneapolis and is made of 100% flannel cotton hand-selected in St Paul. It measures 10″ wide x 70″ long and is the perfect accessory for cold Northeast winters.
Spigen Wireless Bluetooth Earbuds ($70 Retail, $26.99 Amazon)
These wireless earbuds are compact, lightweight, and sweat-proof — making them ideal for the gym, hiking, cycling, and other physical activities. It also features optimal noise reduction and a built-in mic with voice prompts and voice message to answer incoming calls. It’s fully compatible with Bluetooth enabled devices and has a Li-ion battery charged with the included micro USB cable.
Shake: A New Perspective on Cocktails by Eric Prum & Josh Williams ($30 Retail, $17.62 Amazon)
Shake is “an artisanal cocktail book by two best friends and the entrepreneurs who invented the The Mason Shaker cocktail shaker and whose mission is to bring cocktail crafting out of the bar and into the home.” The book is packed with flavorful recipes that are all accompanied by beautiful full-color photos. I rarely drink alcohol, but these gorgeous creations makes me want to imbibe just a tad. 😉
Nectar Sunglasses with Polarized Lenses ($45)
I couldn’t find these exact frames online, so I’m not sure of the actual value (I used the price listed on the info card). Either way, these are a decent pair of everyday sunglasses with blue polarized lenses. My husband and I both wear prescription glasses though, so these will be passed along to someone who can actually use them.
Wow! — What an impressive debut offering from BREO Box! The cost of this subscription may be higher than most, but they certainly deliver on their promise of $300-400 in products. While this first box was more catered towards men, they’ve stated that future offerings will be for both men and women. I can’t wait to see what’s in store for the Spring 2017 box! 😀
