The Brickell Men’s Box is a monthly subscription service for men’s skin care and grooming products.
Every month you’ll receive a personalized grooming routine based on your selected preferences. There are 4 different “grooming objectives” to choose from: Skincare (includes face wash & moisturizer), Shaving (shave cream & aftershave), Hair Care (shampoo & conditioner), or Anti-Aging (anti-aging cream & eye balm).
All of Brickell’s products are made with the finest natural and organic ingredients. (They’re also vegan!)
Subscription prices vary depending on your personal preferences, but the one I’ll be reviewing (Skincare) is $27/month with free shipping.
Let’s see what’s in the July 2015 Brickell Men’s Box!
The Brickell box was shipped inside of a larger outer box and looks very understated and “manly”.
Inside were 3 more boxes that held each individual product. I was hoping there would be an info card buried beneath them, but alas… there was not.
Brickell Clarifying Gel Face Wash – First up were two small bottles of clarifying face wash. The foaming gel formula features aloe, geranium, and coconut to cleanse, renew, and protect the skin. It’s naturally scented with a blend of real essential oils including eucalyptus, peppermint, and lemongrass. The bottles each contain 2 ounces (so 4 ounces total), which doesn’t seem like much, but I’m sure it’s plenty to last my husband through the whole month.
Brickell Face Moisturizer – I’m not sure why they include 2 bottles of face wash, but only one moisturizer… Do guys not moisturize as often? (I just asked my husband… turns out he doesn’t moisturize at ALL. Is that typical?) Anywhooo… This is made with aloe vera, jojoba, shea butter, and green tea to moisturize, protect, nourish, and fight against aging. Both naturally scented and unscented formulas are available.
Brickell Men’s Box is ideal for guys who prefer to do their grooming with high quality, natural ingredients — as opposed to cheaper drug store alternatives. This subscription is definitely on the pricer side, considering the size of the individual products. However, if you want the convenience of having high quality grooming supplies delivered right to your door each month, it’s obviously well worth it.

Hi Wendy,
Thanks for the review! We only include one face moisturizer because a little goes a long, long way. 2oz will let a guy use both morning and night all month. And yes, our box is a little pricey, but it’s because you’re getting the best natural ingredients with most certified organic. The stuff one can buy at CVS, Walgreens, etc is mostly water and chemicals; very cheap to make.
Thanks!

Thanks for the clarification! I’m clueless about men’s moisturization routines. 😉

You used the word “clueless” once in the review, and again in your response above. So why are you reviewing this product? You didn’t provide any useful, relevant information – you mentioned you were clueless. Didn’t mention anything about how well the product worked. Sorry, this is a pretty worthless review. And reads that it was written by someone that is “clueless”.

Funny, I didn’t see the word “clueless” anywhere in that post. (Oh, the irony.) But yes, as a woman I do feel a bit clueless about men’s skincare. However, they wanted a review of their service, so I provided one.
