The box!
A peek inside.
The info card includes descriptions of each product as well as their retail prices. It also indicates if an item is vegan, organic, and/or cruelty free. Every month a portion of their sales are given to a different charity. This month it’s San Diego’s Rachel’s Women’s Center, an organization whose mission is to provide a safe/sober/supportive environment and opportunities for women with few or no resources.
Cuccio Somatology Yoga Essentials Kit ($12.95) – This 3-piece yoga essentials kit contains balancing oil (a pick-me-up experience to awaken the senses), balancing lotion (a perfect skin hydration for non-oily extremely soft skin), and yoga mat sani spray cleanser (specifically formulated to cleanse, condition and care for yoga mats). Each product is formulated with the finest ingredients with an awareness of the importance of mind, body, and spirit.
Cuccio Power Flow Yoga DVD ($19.95) – Both beginner and advanced options are featured on this 50 minute power flow sequence led by celebrity yoga trainer Danielle Cuccio. I’ve been thinking about getting back into yoga again, so hopefully this will encourage me!
The Kind Market Cozumel Tassel Bracelets ($18) – The sale of these handmade tassel bracelets helps to empower women around the world. KIND — Kindness for International Need and Development — works to support sustainability and education of women in developing countries. Each product is made ethically, in good working conditions, and the women are given a fair wage in order to support themselves and their families.
People Towels Towel Set with Eco Sack ($11) – An earth-friendly alternative to paper towels, People Towels are sustainable, reusable (machine washable!), and quick drying. They’re printed with eco-friendly dyes on 100% certified organic fair trade cotton. This set comes with two colorful towels, along with a convenient carrying case.
YUNI Beauty Instant Shower Sheets ($12) – When you can’t get to a shower, these are the next best thing. These body cleansing sheets are plant-based, non-toxic, biodegradable, and compostable. They’re also infused with citrus and peppermint oils for a fresh, natural aroma.
This month’s featured yoga pose was “Virabhadrasana II” aka Warrior II Pose. Full “instructions” were included on the reverse side of the card.
BuddhiBox continues to send useful and eco-friendly items for yogis of all skill levels. The total value of all the items in the July box was just under $74. 🙂 Thinking about signing up for BuddhiBox yourself? — You can save $3 on your first month with coupon code “buddhifriend“!
