BuddhiBox time again!
If you’re new here, BuddhiBox is a subscription box that focuses on yoga and healthy living. Each month you’ll receive 4-6 full sized products to assist in your yoga practice, as well as everyday life. All products are from ethical, socially conscious companies and a portion of all boxes sold is donated to a different non-profit organization every month.
Subscriptions are $30.95/month or less with multi-month commitments. They also offer a sample box for $11.95/month that includes 2-3 product samples and coupons.
Let’s see what’s in my October 2015 BuddhiBox!
The box!
The info card includes descriptions of each product as well as their retail prices. It also indicates if an item is vegan, organic, and/or cruelty free. Every month a portion of their sales are given to a different charity. This month it’s The Circuelle Foundation, whose mission is to provide young women with breast health education.
People Towels Set with Eco Sack ($11) – These 100% organic cotton towels are intended to reduce the need for wasteful paper towels while you’re out and about. They’re printed with eco-friendly dyes, are quick-drying, and machine washable. They even come with their own storage bag — great for tossing the dirty ones in to take home for washing.
In Light & Love Intention Candle ($12 on info card, $6 on their site) – Yep, always happy to see a candle. 🙂 This one includes a small stick to use for writing a message in the wax and sending it into the universe when the candle is lit. It’s made with natural soy wax and features a blend of vanilla, coconut, magnolia blossom, and lavender.
Optimal Health Oil Thieves Blend ($10) – This all natural essential oil blend of rosemary, cinnamon, clove, eucalyptus, and lemon has a TON of uses. From killing 99.96% of airborne bacteria, to relieving insect bites, to disinfecting and cleaning stuffed animals — this oil can do it all!
Energy Muse Chakra Healing Bag ($25 on info card, $19.99 on their site) – These pretty Chakra Healing Stones help to “align, balance and cleanse your seven chakras”. The bag comes with seven chakra stones to connect with each of your chakras: Smoky Quartz, Carnelian, Citrine, Aventurine, Sodalite, Amethyst and Quartz Crystal.
Jiva Clothing Sweat Wicking Headband ($10) – A sweat-absorbing, seamless headband to keep your hair tame while working out. It can be worn wide or folded for a thinner look.
Circuelle Breast Ritual Creme – This was included as a bonus item for Breast Cancer Awareness month. It’s a paraben-free, phthalate-free and petroleum-free cream to use as you perform your healthy breast check ritual. A thoughtful inclusion!
This month’s featured yoga pose is “Heart Chakra Pose”. Full “instructions” are included on the reverse side of the card.
I loved the variety in October’s BuddhiBox. — A nice mix of home, wellness, and lifestyle products. My favorite items were the candle (naturally), the oil spray, and the towel set. I did notice a couple discrepancies between the info card prices and the prices on the actual websites, but the overall value was impressive either way — almost $57 using the lower prices! Can’t argue with that. 😉
Thinking about signing up for BuddhiBox yourself? — You can save $3 on your first month with coupon code “buddhifriend“!
