Let’s see what’s in my September 2017 BuddhiBox!
Starting with July’s shipment, BuddhiBox started sending their “boxes” in reusable canvas bags to be more eco-conscious. For some reason, we got both this month.
The info card included descriptions of each product as well as their retail prices. It also indicated if an item is vegan, organic, and/or cruelty free.
Hippie Homesteader Dream Essential Oil Blend ($16)
This essential oil serum was formulated to help lull you into sleepyland. It contains cedarwood & clary sage to help reduce stress & anxiety, as well as lavender & bergamot to act as a mild sedative. It smells wonderful and I’m absolutely going to be adding it to my nighttime routine.
Dream Catcher ($16)
Placed above your bed, dream catchers are a spiritual tool used by Native Americans to “catch” bad dreams in its web, while letting the good/positive ones glide down the feathers to the sleeper below. This one is crafted with vegan leather, turquoise stones, and colorful feathers.
Mini Crescent Moon Necklace ($25)
I LOVE this dainty silver moon necklace! I seem to gravitate towards simple/minimalist jewelry, so this is something I absolutely could have chosen myself. The crescent moon charm is sterling silver plated and it hangs on a delicate silver chain. So pretty!
Cards for Calm ($20)
This card game was designed to combat anxiety & negative thinking through the use of mindfulness, visualization techniques, and creative thinking. Played alone or with friends, it will help you create spaces in your day to focus on what really matters to you, to find new ways to deal with anxiety and create structures to pursue your goals. An interesting idea & certainly worth a try!
Sincerely Different Dream Salve ($12)
A soothing salve formulated to help you catch some Z’s. Ingredients include shea butter, beeswax, coconut oil, avocado oil, arrowroot powder, lavender oil, frankincense, Vitamin E, and other natural elements. To use, simply rub onto your temples or wrists, breathe deep, and relax.
Miracle Tree 3-Pack Tea Sampler ($4)
An organic, caffeine-free tea consisting of fresh and organic dried Moringa leaves blended with the highest quality natural ingredients. Moringa is a natural superfood that contains over 90 nutrients including 47 antioxidants, 25 vitamins & minerals, and all 9 essential amino acids. Included were samples of green, ginger, and mint tea.
This month’s featured yoga pose was “Savasana” — one of my personal favorites 😉 . Full “instructions” were included on the reverse side of the card.
I really enjoyed the dreams/relaxation theme of September’s BuddhiBox. My favorite items were the silver moon necklace, essential oil blend, dream salve, and tea sampler. The total value of everything this month was $93! 🙂 — Thinking about signing up for BuddhiBox yourself? — You can save 20% on your first month with coupon code “yogaaddict“!
